Katrina sighs deeply felt him pull away. No matter what she was going to say he knew that she was going to say even if she don't say it. She had a plan if her parents wasn't here soon she was going to go out and look for them. But she would have to do it when Thalmas wasn't here. Figuring that he would go out again to get some more food. Who knows how long they would reach the first town. And it would be a long trip to her grandparents kingdom.

"I'm going to go to bed.." says looking at Thalmas before she turns round and heads back over to the bed that her guardian had made her the night before. Katrina pulls the blanket back and lays back down before she falls asleep.

Thalmas watched her go over to the bed, and waited until she was sound asleep before slipping out of the cave. He had enough time to get more food and be back before dawn before she woke up, hopefully. And he knew if he wasn't back on time, and she had a spare moment, she would go out looking for her mother and father.

With that in mind, he went quickly around the forests, gathering nuts and berries, hunting whatever he could and finding anything else they would need for their travels, having to go quite a ways out to get some of it, and by the time he was walking back into the cave, it was beginning to get light out.

Katrina woke up right after Thalmas had left. She sits up to look around and saw no sign of her parents. That really got her even more worried. What if the people who attack her kingdom had captured or worst killed her parents. And Thalmas wasn't telling her everything she needed to hear so she needed to find out for herself. Katrina got up and grabs her cloak, puts it on her. Putting her hair up before looking around and saw a dagger on the ground next to the fire. It would help alittle bit in defense. She place it in her pouch that she carries around her waist always.

Katrina left the cavern moments before Thalmas return back. It would pissed Thalmas off but at the moment she wasn't thinking about it. She looks around abit as the forest was big but she knew which direction where the kingdom was and takes off toward that direction. It did made the travel hard with a long dress she had as once a while it gets caught by branches and vines.

Thalmas walked into the cave, looking around to see the princess had gone, the dagger was gone, and he instantly hissed, dropped everything and ran out of the cave, running through the trees in search of her. Odds were she had went towards the kingdom, and if she had did that...

He growled, searching high and low for her, and when he finally caught sight of her, he realized just how far she'd gotten and he landed in front of her, grabbing her arms. "You stupid child!" he hissed at her, his eyes glowing a blood red, his anger almost suffocating. "what the hell do you think you're doing?" he asked, holding her arm tight enough that she would be able to tell her little stunt didn't please him, and she was looking at a painful journey.

Katrina didn't know how far she gotten but it look got far enought. The princess would continue to walk before Thalmas came out of nowhere infront of him. From the look on his face he was really pissed off at her. She winces feeling him grabbng her arms tightly. It made her scared but also angry at the same time. Plus the way he was speaking at her was wrong. She pushes him away from her "What do you think I'm doing?! I'm going to find what happen to my parents." yells at him. "Ever since the kingdom was attack two days ago. You never told me who and the reason why. I'm the princess I should know what happen to my kingdom." as never before she raise her voice at Thalmas but she was just tired of people hiding stuff from her.

Thalmas growled, this time, he pushed her up against a tree, his hand around her throat. "You are a fool. A stupid child who's parents spoiled you rotten. Your fiance's people killed them. With aid of your aunt's family you foolish wench!" he hissed, taking away her pouch. "You are their last nd right now your foolishness would shame them to no end." he said, turning her around and taking out a pieces of rope, tying her hands behind her back and taking her pouch and the dagger. "You were on your way to your death. I will not allow that. From now on, you will be tied, hands and feet when you sleep because I can't trut an two year old to keep herself out of trouble. And when you are at your grandparents kingdom, i swear by the blood of my ancestors that was spilled by your familiy's greed and stupidity that I will make sure your grandparents never allow your freedom for years to come." he said, picking her up and flying back to the cave, landing and pushing her onto the bed.

Sure, he was her guardian, and yeah, other times his conduct would have been punished but the girl seemed to be nothing but fool of stupid.

Pulling the cave doors closed and locking them with magic he turned. "You best get ready to pack your shit, royal pain in my neck because we leave tonight. And if you refuse, than fine. Upon your death I earn my freedom. And I'm tired of working for people like you." he said, making sure his words were like a verbal whip. She was in his care, and she needed to realize that just because he was her guardian, doesn't mean he couldn't be rude as his father was.

(Ouch that was harsh lol)

"Ouch..stop it! that hurt!" says when she was turn around after having her guardian's hand on her throat. She still couldn't believe what he was telling her about the truth. And sure it would be hard for her to take. After all everything that Thalmas says was true but Katrina was to blind to see the truth. She struggles alot when he was tieing her up. She gets picked up and gets taking back to the cavern. Right now she was ready to cry but she faught back the tears.

His words was whip to her. And it hurt..sometimes she wish she wasn't the princess. Or her birth would never happen. Her life was much as a curse as Thalmas life. Katrina looks down once he placed her on the bed and didn't say anything cause there was nothing else to say. To many emotions was swirling around her mind. But she would do as he tells her. As this was going to be a long trip of silents. Of course Thalmas probbly wouldn't care if she did talk to him again during the trip.

[[ LoL. I know but it suits his bestial nature...]]

Thalmas glared over at her. "I can't believe you did that... Of all the years I thought you were smarter than this." he said, clearly disappointed in her. "At this point you parents would forbid me to teach you your magic. And so I won't. Instead I will put you through the training I was put through. And if you thought being tied up and held for a moment hurt, wait until your training begins. Scrapes and bruises aren't all you will have by the time you're officially ready to have your magic back." he said, hia eyes boring deep into her. "and that isn't a threat. It's a promise. The first thing they had me do when I trained was learn to bear hunger for days. They would harshly eat in front of me and make a show of it. And I will do as they did to me, step by step, until you can show me you are ready for your magic." he said.

He knew he was being harsh, but at this point, he felt no sympathy. It was like the child didn't care about weather or not she lived or died. But she was the only heir, and Thalmas cared far more than any other, weather or not he was willing to admit it. But he would make her realize it, in the same way his mother and father made him realize it. "Inbetween training units, you will have two days to eat and regain your strength. Afterwards, learning to walk miles carrying the weight of your charge. But since you're a woman, I will start you out with the weight of your stupidity." he said. He made sure he quoted what his family was told to by her parents, and what his parents had told t him.

(Thats true.)

Katrina looks at him for an moment and listens to him. This was time for her to grow up and show she wasn't a spoiled brat like her parents raise her to be. From what he said her training was going to be hard but there was some that she didn't like. He was praticely giving her a break abit. Only because she was a woman and not a man. At this point she thought Thalmas as her rival now.

"I don't need any special treatment just because I am a woman or a princess. I can and will do anything to show you..to prove I'm not a spoiled brat."looking at Thalmas. "I don't care if I'm stupid or an idiot. I can do anything that a man would do." as she knew what she was saying. So she better be ready to pay for her words. Cause this would be the same way if she was man.

[[ I mean like, If you were blood bound to a princess, and you protected her your whole life, and she randomly ran off... that would make you pissed beyond belief, wouldn't it? Anywho, I'm thinking to make things interesting like, maybe when they get to her grandparent's kingdom, there is a servant girl who intrigues Thalmas and makes Katrina jealous.]]

Thalmas laughed. "You're already carrying 50 pounds of sharp stones. Not only will they be heavy but blood will be drawn." he said. "If I were you I'd take the slowly adding weight as a blessing." he said, clearly not taking her seriously as he began to cook the game he'd been cleaning up and he spiced it, cooking it than storing it in the skins and such he'd brought with them, roasting nuts and crushing some berries into juice, and others he simply stored in a leather sack.

Finishing that up, he bgan to pack things that didn't need to be out, leaving her bed out. "Get some rest. It'll be the most sleep you get on our journey..." he warned, giving her the opportunity to build her strength now, rather than later.

(Yea I like that.)

Katrina looks at him and sighs deeply. It was impossible talking to Thalmas he always makes things hard no matter what he said. And plus it really was making her mad that he wasn't taking her seriously about what she said. All she would think that Thalmas thought of her as totally airhead..a girl that didn't care anyone else but her self. But there was more to Katrina that not even Thalmas or her late parents ever knew. She was going to prove him and everyone else that she could do it. Now her parents was gone she had no other choice. Katrina just lays there staring up at the ceiling as she wasn't really that tired. She felt more wired than sleepy anyway

Thalmas let her lay there until, finally, it was time to pack up and move on. "Time to get up princess... I would untie you but sadly I don't think you're capable of self control." he said, pulling her up than packing the blankets and such, putting them in a bg, then muttering something under his breath, the luggage shrinking enough that he could slip it into his pocket and turn to put out the fire and mess it up, making it look abandoned but placing one diamond on the ground should her parents come to the cave later on, so they knew they were both alive.

Going over to the entrance of the cave, her opened it and pulled her outside. The sun was setting, and it was clear that Thalmas was not going to be flying her around that night. This time, they were going to walk miles on foot.

Katrina winces already the ropes was making her wrist hurting. But she wasn't going to complain as this was her punishment. She follows and gets pulled out of the cave before looking around alittle. She was to ashamed of the act she pulled but there was no going back now. Maybe everyone was right about her. Always hearing rumors about the spoiled little princess and everyone felt bad but in truth they didn't. Katrina wonder if learning her magic was worth this. At this point she felt like renouce her magic and her title. Cause she felt like she didn't deserve to be queen since she already had prove that people would be disappointed in her like Thalmas was.

Thalmas looked over at her. "And you wanting to learn healing magic... Forget about it. you will learn ONLY what you need to live." he said, knowing she would get pissy but he could hardly care less. She had to learn that with him being her only guardian around, the spoiled princess wasn't going to be so spoiled at all.

Turning, her held her hands and began to walk forward, keeping grip on her in case she decided to take off again.

She wasn't going to run again there was no reason for her to run away. She already decided once she gotten to her grandparents kingdom to ask them to keep her locked up in her room. She never ever wanted to leave the kingdom again just like Thalmas wanted. Katrina always thought of her a slave to the crown anyway. No wonder why her so called fincee killed her parents and probbly would tryed to kill her. Katrina didn't say anything else about the magic or anything else anyway. as he walked forward she would follow. She didn't even care if they walked all night. Surely that would they would do anyway.

Thalmas walked night, and well into the day, coming to the mountains he finally unbound her. "We may have some climbing. Know if you try anything on these cliffs, it could kill both of us." he said, nodding for her to go first. It was clear until they made progress, that Thalmas was going to run her into the ground. They needed to be a safer distance from her parent's kingdom. "If you have a foothold making you nervous, let me know, I will help." he said, not letting his voice soften a bit.

Katrina looks up at the mountian sides and rubs her wrists to get some feeling back into them. Going up the mountian wasn't going to be easily and already her cloth shoes was worn out and her feet already had some sores. And it was going to be hard to climb up in a long dress. She turns around and helds out her hand "Give me the dagger...there is no way I can make it up that mountian with a long dress on." As if he does give her the dagger she would used it to cut her dress short so she wouldn't slip on it. If that were to happen it would be deadly.

Thalmas shook his head, reaching up and ripping the dress with ease, tossing the extra fabric down. "Keep moving. We have a lot of ground to cover and no time to waste with your problems." he said, continuing to push on. He was going to do this for days, pushing her to do things that she wasn't used to doing, climbing mountains, walking through freezing cold rivers... Whatever he needed to make the few days without food or water hard for her. She needed to toughen up quite a bit before he would let her even get close to a berry.

The princess looks at her guardian after he took it on himself about the dress. She sighs deeply to herself before she takes off her cloak. She didn't care if she catches a cold or anything. It was just going to be another thing getting in the way. She also took off the locket giving to her by her parents and tosses it onto the ground. It was also going to be something that would make her loose her focus too.

Katrina walks over and place her hands onto the rocks and slowly pulls herself up. It was hard at first as the rocks was very sharp and she had to becareful cause here was places that was abit loose. It did made it hard to climb up the leather shoes coming more thinner and was already tearing up cutting the bottoms of her feet. But that didn't stop her even it was going to be a slow climb.
