I don't really like carols, but my favorite christmas song is Man of Sorrow by wolves at The Gate. They're screamo but all christian lol

hmm...my favorite Cchristmas song right now is probably "He is called Jesus" from Todd Agnew's christmas album.

That is a good song.

It has been stuck in my head for days. lol. I really like it though. It presents such an unusual perspective on the Christmas story. I had actually never read the story of Simeon until I listened to that song. I had to go look it up. In case anyone else in here is like me it is in Luke right after the account of Jesus' birth. It is quite interesting.

I'll have to read it now Lol. Off to church for me in a bit.

Just got home from church a little while ago. Now I am cooking supper. Making soup because I have a cold. Bleah. lol I am praying i goes away by Christmas.

I've been struggling a bit with keeping a good attitude at work but the Lord gave me a different perspective yesterday on some things that are going on. I am hopeful that this week will be better. ^_^ Please pray for me in this situation.

Work is going okay. It hasn't been peaceful but I have mostly had peace anyway and I praise God for that. We'll see how the rest of the week goes but I am determined not to let this place get to me.

I've been attending a bible study about the fruits of the spirit and this week was peace. It was rather appropriate timing. lol. ^_^

Prayer Request: I just got in from the ER. Labs were 'good' and I don't have strep, but I was hyperventilating and in horrid pain and unable to walk.

I know tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, and I'd like to go get my ashes, but instead I'm going to call my church to see if maybe someone can come to my house with ashes and do the sacrament of annointing the sick? If they don't get back to me I know as a last reserve I can always call a Catholic church. I currently hang out with the Anglican/Episcopal crowd and even though I know I'm in an "imperfect communion" with the Catholic church, I'd be comfortable asking for their help if push came to shove.

I am pentacostal so I am not entirely sure what ceremony you are talking about but I have just prayed for you and I will keep you in my prayers today. *huggles Crow* Feel better.
