I am glad that you seem to know something about the time frame. I once start a story along time ago set in the 20 and the person I was playing with did not seem to know anything but what little she may have seen in a movie.

Ah, that must have been a bit troubling. If I do ever step away from the time frame, please do let me know. I know that can be frustrating. I'm a fan of a few authors that wrote about the times, so I think I do have a decent idea, but I'm no expert at all. I try to work with what I know, or learn what I think I need for RP's.

and I know alot of Mob stuff cause I like that stuff but may step more into the movie ideal 20's at times. so if it is not to blaring I will let it pass. oh and I dont mind if you have some modern slang in there if you cant think of the old stuff... I dont know it all.

I've read a lot of Scott Fitzgerald, and then some Larkin and Godberson. Fitzgerald is a favorite of mine, though some of his books go into later decades, so I'm trying to keep those separate in mind for this.

That makes sense, I think it's always interesting to hear about the mobsters. Crime in general, I guess, is always fascinating to me. I'm glad there's a bit of slack there, I'll try to keep it faithful but don't know all of those particulars.

I can always poke you if I see something, just as long as you do the same.

by the way sam's eyes may unnerve Amory. one is green and the other black... I would have to hunt down the picture I based him off of to tell you which eye is which.

I do remember, I did just touch on Amory having a hint of physical attraction to him. Amory won't be trying to get close to him.

teatime the assassin from the Hogfather, the book is by Terry Pratchett but I have not read it yet. only seen the movie. Sam was created after seeing the movie and being asked to play a grim/human story. sadly the person that was RPing with me in that one is gone so poor sam felt unloved. so when you said Assassin he said "Yes Please"

I actually haven't heard of that, but I'm always horrible with recognizing titles. I'll have to go skim over that some. Aww, poor fellow! It's always sad when good characters get left hanging like that. Well, that's awesome! I'm glad he suited the RP idea.

its actually not his time frame but he does work and how he likes to dress is more in line with the 20 and late victorian.

I'd say flowery. He'd be very much so attracted to light, flowery colors, scents, and sounds.
