What I heard of The Foo Fighters are cool. I never tried to listen as much as what I heard on the radio or saw on TV. But honestly, I think if anything they're one of the only bands I think I can really like that's been played over and over. They have a good nice rock sound, I can't say that for the other stuff MTV plays/shows.
Yes they do have quite the perfect rock sound. My favorite album is Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace. It's just absolutely beautiful. And a lot of their stuff is inspiring, too :).
