The graphics were soo pretty. I love Yuu Watase. x3

I watched eeeeverything that came out... everything at least to try it once.. XDDD I guess it all started with Astroboy and I continued to watch it.. I didn't know it was anime until I began watching Ranma and Sailor Moon

The first anime I ever saw was Pokemon, which I was introduced to by a freind when I was about 11.

Shortly followed Sailor Moon.

The first manga I read was Maison Ikkoku, which I picked up on a total whim when I had some money to spare when I was about 13, and I still love it :D

I went into Forbidden planet vowing to buy some manga, but I didn't know anything about it and I hadn't heard of anything, so I picked up a random one.

Sailor Moon was my oldest memorable anime. I watched it when I was 4 years old... in chinese. Or maybe it was crayon shin chan. I forgot.

I used to watch Sailor Moon, Hamtaro and Tenchi Muyo! (Still do)

But what really got me into it was Inuyasha, though It's definately not my favorite now.

Hot Gimmick was what made me like Shojo, though the ending is dissapointing. :(

It was Sailor Moon for me. I had no clue what it was but I really enjoyed watching it.

The first manga I read was Card Captor Sakura.

around 3rd grade i was obsessed with Pokemon so it was the first anime i'd ever watched but at that time i had no idea what anime is but now i do and i absolutely love it. first manga was chobits this past summer. my friend and i had nothing to do in the summer so we went to borders. and now around 8-9 months later im extremely obsessed with Anime and manga ^.^;

Mine was Sailor Moon too, about 8 or 9 years ago, I want to say. A roommate in college had mentioned it and I thought it sounded funny, but then watched it with her one day and actually enjoyed it. As far as manga, a guy (who I think had a crush on me) in a bookstore I worked in was a manga nut and when he found out I liked Sailor Moon, he brought a big bag of manga for me to sample one weekend. The ones I remember in there were Magic Knight Rayearth, some Ranma 1/2, and Dominion, though there were several others in there as well.

  Well, for Anime I would say DragonBall Z and of course Pokemon and not to forget, Sailormoon. But on that moment, I didn't knew it was called Anime. So, if I will look for my first Anime, that I knew it was an Anime... I think it was Chobits. It is actually one of my favorites Anime. And after Chobits, Rurouni Kenshin. I actually started one or two years ago with Anime and Manga. I started looking it because a friend of me introduced me to it.
  
  My first Manga is also Chobits. I'm still reading the serie, i'm reading Volume 4 and 5 on the moment. But I can't set myself to it, because i'm busy with school.

I can honestly say I don't know. I've been watching anime since before I was 5.

Pokemon and Sailor Moon,
closely followed by Tenchi and Dragonball Z.
But what really got me hooked was when my cousin sat me down and made me watch a lot of Inuyasha and Yu Yu Hakusho. XP

And manga? I'm thinking...it was probably Fruits Basket?

I played pokemon ever since 5 however..
Pokemon the T.V show was introduced to me when I was about 7-8. o.o;

My Neighbor Totoro was the first anime I saw, around age 4 or 5, though I didn't know it was from/took place in Japan at the time.

My first anime that I knew as such was probably Pokemon, which I discovered when I was 8, with Sailor Moon soon after. I read the individual issues of the Pokemon comic for a while, but mostly out of order. So my first manga that I read in order, and in volumes, was, uh... Magical Pokemon Adventure or some such? It was Pokemon, but with shoujo-esque art and plot.

Pokemon was my first XD
it was amazing and i thought i would NEVER get tired of it
NEVER
but then they added more pokemon and it stopped making sense DX
Gundam Wing was also one of my first X3

First manga: I really have no idea..Best guess would be Fruits Basket though. :3
