"We will be arriving at Tokyo in 10 minutes. Please prepare to land." A voice on the speakers said and then it was translated into Japanese. A girl with black hair that was sloppily tied back was suddenly awoken from the sound. A manga slid down from her chest and she caught it before it fell to the ground.

"Phew!" She hugged the manga before carefully tucking it into her bag. She adjusted her glasses and blinked a few time to adjust to her surroundings. She put everything away into her bag which had a duct tape with "Diana Dang" written on it. Her mom freaked about things like these.

She looked around. Everyone in her school that was there were pretty excited, she couldn't contain her happiness herself. She swayed back and forth in joy, couldn't wait to get off the plane. This was simply amazing!

Xin yawned, glancing through his window. According to the announcement earlier, it was four o'clock in Tokyo at the moment, and the scene outside reflected it. The sun shone into Xin's eyes, temporarily blinding him. He looked away, pulling down his window cover to prevent the light from coming in again.

The airplane was landing in ten minutes. However excited he was about this trip, he found himself wishing that the ride would last a little more. They had flown through the night from the airport near the school to Tokyo. Some students had slept through the whole ride, while others whispered quietly. Trying in vain to blink the sleep out of his eyes, the teen briefly wondered how the other students did it. Did they sneak a whole bottle of caffeine onto the plane?

Suddenly, he felt the plane shake, much like the sensation he felt when the plane took off. In front of him, the seatbelt sign flashed on and off. The plane's entering turbulance, he thought. Clipping on his seatbelt, he closed his eyes again, attempting to catch a second's worth of sleep.

Diana pulled out a hairbrush and fixed her hair. It was much neater than it was a second ago. The plane rumbled as it landed. As the minutes passed, everything stopped. The announcement dismissed everyone in English and Japanese.

"Yes!!" Diana squealed, jumping up from her seat but unfortunately banged her head against the ceiling because of her height. She rubbed her bruised spot but quickly went back to her excitement.

"Can you believe it? Can you believe it??" Diana grabbed onto her best friend, Donnia.

Donnia grinned. "This is wicked!" They made their way out of the plane and both of them were jumping up and down. Pretty much everyone from their school that came were. To be in Japan all for free? Who could not be happy at this point?

Once everyone came out of the plane and they were in the airport, the teacher told everyone to gather for attendance after they have collected their luggages. After, she went over the rules which seemed to go on for ages. Everyone just wanted to quickly leave the place to the hotel. Sightseeing baby!

Xin blindly followed his class out of the plane. They had finally landed, and Xin didn't feel any different. He had expected something bigger, some feeling of excitement or joy to well up inside him. After all, this was his first time on a plane, and first time going abroad. His parents, poor immigrants from China, had maintained a breadshop near his school for as long as he could remember, his family being too poor to afford any sort of vacation outside the US.

He dragged his luggage along, pausing outside the crowd of students listening politely to their teacher's lecture. He listened half-heartedly as she explained the rules, a packet of words that Xin's parents had him read over and over until he had finally memorized them. To distract himself and keep himself awake, he glanced at the many advertisements and posters donning the walls of the airport, recognizing a few kanji words here and there.

"...once we're past the passport checkpoint, please don't go on by yourselves... taking a bus to the hotel... tempura dinner..."

Sensing that the students were getting impatient, the teacher ended her speach quickly. The group pulled forward through the different checkpoints of the airport. Xin procured his documents out of his bookbag and handed everything to the clerk behind the counter. Surprisingly, the man's English was very good. There was no hint of a Japanese accent at all.

Afterwards, the students boarded a shuttle bus. As the bus pulled through the airport, Xin glanced out of the window. It was his chance to take a closer look at Tokyo, and he definitely wasn't going to sleep through it.

((I wonder what kind of problem you can have in a rp like this... ))

Scooting over on to a seat near the front of the shuttle bus, Diana and her friend immediately swiped out their digital cameras from their bags. Some people were oohing and ahhing at the foreign country's scenery while others talked with their friends excitedly about their plans for tonight.

"Oh my gosh! Did you see that guy?" Diana's finger jabbed against the window in a direction where she saw some Japanese guy in his 20s with an outrageous outfit walking down the street. The camera flash immediately went off.

"My facebook's new album will have over a thousand pictures once we get back!" Donnia said, browsing through the pictures she just took.

"Ah, maybe I'll find a really cute guy here! And he'll be like from a wealthy family and ask me to live in Japan with him forever." Diana sighed dreamily, lowering her camera as she went off into her own world. She knew inside that would be pretty much impossible but she always had this small hope inside that she would be swept off in the lives of those manga characters. Even not, at least she was glad to be able to come to Japan while she was still in high school.

They reached their hotel about half an hour later and once again, the teacher went over the rules in the lobby.

"As everyone already know here, girls are with girls while boys are with boys for their rooms. Four people per a room. Lights out are at 11 o'clock sharp." The teacher reminded her students.

She pulled out a piece of paper from the stack that she was holding onto. "For today, since this is our first time here you are allowed to roam the city."

Everyone cheered, but the teacher hushed them as she continued, "But I want everyone back before seven back here in the lobby so we can go out and eat at a restaurant."

Diana smile seemed to be stretching from one end of her face to another. The teacher handed everyone their keys and gave them their room numbers. People fought for the elevators. Once it was full, whoever couldn't get in rushed up the stairs. Their floor was the fifth and the girls were at the west wing while the boys were at the east wing.

Running up the stairs near the end of the crowd, Diana was about to reach the fifth floor when she accidentally lost her footing and tripped backwards. "Whuaa....!"

((hrrmmm, i wanna join but the character in meh mind is kinda tough to insert xD I want him to be disgruntled and not that happy about the trip, just so he contrasts...but still dunno if he'll work in this situation xD.... i shall ponder out a solution >3>

edit: hmmm, i was wondering if meh chara could become cousins with either Edana's or Mage's characters? preferably edana's though.))

edit: i have an idea that if he's cousins with mage's chara then he'll have to follow Xin to japan because his parents forced him to spend time and watch after his cousin. but actually he didnt want to go to japan...

As for plot, it's already mentioned that we have to learn 200 words and finish a project. I guess for now, list the places your character wants to go, and we'll make an itinerary of some sort. Maybe someone can end up lost, or their money stolen, etc.][

Xin followed the rest of the crowd up the stairs. He had no idea where his room was, but he figured that he could always find the teacher later. Bounding up the fifth flight of stairs, he almost reached he landing when a girl in front of him let out a surprised gasp, falling backwards. Reflexively, the boy reached out, catching the girl and preventing her from falling.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

((Lol, well we can always come up with something as we go along. It's better that way. Px ))

Diana looked up to see who had caught her. She immediately went into a shade of red. She wasn't used to being around guys that often. She had a couple of guy friends but even though, her contact around males were pretty limited due to her parents' overprotective personalities. Xin was a few guys in her school that she considered cute even though she did not know him very well. And she had a thing for cute guys.

"I'm okay! T-thank you for helping me." She flustered and did a small head bow in gratitude.

Her friend stuck her head out of the doorway. "What are you doing there? Come on! We gotta choose a bed!"

Diana quickly waved bye and ran off to see her room for the next three months.

Personality: Jun's a very mild guy, but is usually upset most of the time in school since he'd have to work at his parent's restruant afterwards so he barely has time to himself. But underneath his unhappiness he's actually a really caring guy, almost like a big brother to his friends and classmates.

Others: Jun's cousins with Xin Yu and is forced to go on the trip to Japan with him since both their parents insisted that he keep an eye out on Xin. It was free anyways.

Jun was waiting impatiently on the fifth floor with all the luggage near him. He was really restless and really didnt want to be there at all. He had better things to do back at home like try to earn money so he can move out of his parents house when he graduates. He was groggy from the long plane ride and really wanted to sleep in their hotel room. Luckily one of his roommates was his cousin, Xin.

He was still upset about his parents forcing him to go to Japan, he really didnt mind hanging out with his cousin, but what else is he gonna do there? He really had no interest in the culture since his father was pretty much anit-japanese just like his cousin's parents. So naturally it rubbed off on him.

He then tried to look over the crowd coming up the stairs to find his cousin, good thing he was pretty tall for his age. He mumbled to himself and wished he couldve been sleeping by now.

In her new bedroom, Diana squealed with delight. Clutching onto some manga, she jumped up and down.

"Oh my god!! I was looking for the 10th volume of Kurohime everywhere!! Where the hell did you get it?" Diana just kept jumping up as her roommates stared at here, thinking about giving her some meds. Diana happily placed the book on the bed dresser and looked at it adoringly.

Donnia grinned, "I have my sources." Everyone was unpacking their things. People were exchanging small talks as they go back and forth from room to room.

"Screw it! I'll unpack once we come back!" She threw a few things at the side a picked out an outfit. She rushed to the washroom before anyone else could and came back out with a colourful t-shirt and jeans.

"Come Don! We have to start touring... NOW!" Diana grabbed her best friend's hand and her bag that was pinned with anime-related things. She raced down the hallway, nearly bowling over a guy who was waiting for someone.

"Sorry Jun!" Diana yelled back at him, not stopping much to see if he was okay or not. Even if the guy and his cousin were cute, it was no stopping her at the moment when she was in Japan.

Jun was on the brink of nodding off, standing in the hallway when all of the sudden Diana and Don rushed by him and took him by surprise. He gave them a mean look, but then his face softened as Diana apologized. He watched them run out of the hallway so energetically, and excused them since they were so happy.
Silly girls... He thought to himself.

He then gave a big ol' yawn and wet his lips a bit, rubbed his eyes. Jun was getting cranky, "Hey Xin! Where are you man?"
Jun then took a look at his watch and all of the sudden his stomach gave a huge growl. Damn, I'm hungry already...?

He then asked a roommate of his to open up their room for them so he could drop off the luggage and hopefully go out and find someplace to eat...then he could come back and sleep.

Diana was about to faint on the spot when she was outside. It was crowded with Japanese people bustling everywhere. There was billboards with Japanese artists and the latest fashion behind the glass. It was Japan's New York! Of course, Diana never been to New York but anyone could relate.

They both went to exchange all of their money into Japanese yen at a mall. About a couple of hours later when they came back, both of their hands were full with shopping bags.

After unpacking, Diana sprawled everything onto her bed. From clothes to accessories, she would need an extra luggage to haul it all back.

"How much did you spend?" Donnia asked, folding in her new clothes.

Diana counted but then realized it was in yen. "No clue! I have about..." She looked into her wallet and gasped. "About five hundred yen left. That's five dollars..."

She fell to the side, couldn't believe she splurge so much on one day. "And I didn't bring my bank card either. It's back at home." She rolled around in the bed, biting into her nail wondering what she was going to do. Donnia had to remove the things quickly before she crushed them.

"Return them." Donnia said bluntly. She picked up a kimono that was mixed with some new style. "You spent like over a hundred on this. That's a week worth of food there."

"Noo!" Diana snatched it away and held onto it tightly. "No no no! I refuse!"

"A job?" A roommate piped up. She and their other roommate didn't buy much except for a couple of things. Diana looked at their bought items and at hers. A small part of her died a little but when she heard of the new idea, she jumped up.

"A job! That's brilliant! I just need to go to apply to a couple of places!" Diana started excitedly.

"Uh, you know that you barely speak any Japanese nonetheless go look for a job in Japan?" Donnia reminded her.

Diana slumped onto her bed and threw herself over her bought products. "I'm doomed!!" She sobbed.

Jun spent the rest of the day changing his money and going out trying to find a reasonable place to eat. After surfing through the busy streets of Tokyo, which he wasnt enjoying alot, he then found a side-bar noodle stand on a more shadey part of town. A place where less tourist were at. He really wanted some Chinese food, but he had to setting for some side-street noodles.
He sat at the bar and tried to order in english, but the cook couldnt understand. The began a series of sharades between the cranky Jun and the japanese cook. Jun even tried to say things in chinese but it failed. So then finally Jun gave up and pointed to a random entry on the menu and asked for a drink by gesture.

With luck, Jun got a dish of spicy tan-tan ramen and a small shot glass of water...or so he thought it was. When he was done with the ramen he kept ordering more of the small drink.
What a selfish place, selling such a small cup of water...
Little did he know it was sake, and he couldnt taste it since the spice overwhelmed his tounge. He continued to order 5 or 6 shots of it and then he cashed out and started to head towards the hotel.
Such an expensive place, id never knew their water cost so much...what a rip off.

Jun then swaggered his way into the hotel, not knowing he was tipsy, since he thought he was super tired. But then on his way up the stairs to the fith floor he tripped on one of the steps and landed onto the hallway. Jun winced in pain and rolled around in agony. He was totally not happy, but soon the sake overwhelmed him and suddenly he blacked out.

((Lol! We seriously should get interaction, lemme come up with something. My brain is fried too. Hm, who should I invite to the rp...?))

With a sigh, Diana got up. "I could at least attempt to get a job. I'll just quickly go downstairs and ask the front desk. Good thing they know English."

Heading towards the elevators, she saw that both of them were at the top of the hotel. Being impatient, she went towards the stairs. Opening the stairways door, she saw a body sprawled there.

Immediately she jumped into a conclusion that the guy was shot but there was no blood. "Um, excuse me? Are you okay there?" She flipped the person over to see it was Jun. His face seemed weird and when she leaned closer she could smell his breath.

"Urk!" She pulled away. She looked down at the hallway, no one was there. She looked back at him. She then turned him over so his stomach faced upwards and used her arms under his to pull him across the floor.

"Damn, why are you so heavy?? You don't even look like it." Diana struggled and managed to pull his body half-way in the hallway. A teacher came out and was totally surprised to see the scene.

"Diana! What happened?" He came over to the girl and she explained how she found Jun dead-drunk near the stairwell. He thanked her got another teacher to help the guy up. He was then taken to his own room.

"Eesh! Who would get drunk on the first day?" Diana disregard it and continued on with her plan, to find a job.

The whole night has past and it became early morning and finally Jun had woken up from his drugged sleep. Owwww, what the hell? Where am I?
Jun obviously had a hang over but he was clueless about it. He looked around and scanned the area and noticed he was back in the hotel room. He was utterly confused and tried to get up but only stumbled out of bed and fell to the floor.
All of the roommates where still including Xin. Jun wanted to head to the bathroom and probably stay in there for a while, he needed to get over his hangover.

((Lol, you should. xD; Maybe I'll bring in a Japanese character of mine... ))

A Japanese, orange-headed girl in front of the hotel was in a heated argument with another girl outside of the hotel. Kimi Nataki grabbed the collar of the tanned girl with heavy makeup on. Both were speaking rapidly in Japanese.

"Listen you, b*tch. I did not meet up with your boyfriend last night." She snarled at the girl named Yura. Kimi was just minding her own business, walking down the street when Yura came out of no where with her little Gucci bag and pink heels saying that her friend saw Kimi and the boyfriend together.

"Don't lie to me!" Yura screeched, scratching Kimi on the face with her manicured nails. That set off Kimi big time.

"Oh you, f**king wh*re!" Kimi immediately gave two painful punches right in Yura's face. It was a huge commotion and people were trying to tear the two apart. Diana who was at the front desk went to see what was going on. She couldn't help but thought this was an awesome catfight. If only she understood what they were saying.

Both were brought into the hotel, held off by the security guards. When Diana looked at them, Kimi glared meanly back.

Whoa, I hope I don't ever get in a mess with her... Diana thought to herself.

While Jun was in the bathroom he forgot to close the door all the way, when all of the sudden one of his roommates burst in through the door, "Jun, omg! you would never believe it there was this cat fight happening outside the hotel! The girls looks outrageous out there come come you should see!"
Harry had caught Jun in the middle of brushing his teeth, but at the sudden burst, Jun almost fell over the toilet bowl. Obviously he was still trying to wake up. But with all the excitment Harry didnt care what was happening he pulled Jun outta the bathroom and dragged him down to the lobby to sneak a peak at the ruckus that happened earlier.

Jun had no control of what to do since his motor skills were still slow, for crying out loud he still had his toothbrush in his hand and his pants half on. There was a crowd already at the entrace, most of them tourists and fellow classmates.
Jun tried to pry his eyes open to focus but he noticed a bright orange head-ed girl giving a mean look to Diana. He didnt know what to make of it but what he really needed to know was that he was half dressed in public...
