Hm, he was receiving, and I think his wife had done the donating?? (ex-landlords from years ago). She just never talked about it. She was one of those people who would rather pretend everything was 'normal' when in front of other people.

Probably ate up her body's reserve of immunity, and cancer in 'remission' has a habit of waking up and pouncing when it senses it's host is in a weakened state.

I'm glad they opened it up when they did, because I haven't been able to donate much at all since then. >.>;

I was allergic to the bite and it made my lupus flare up really bad after being in remission for five freaking years... damn spiders.

They've closed the beta now anyway. I donated in august and didn't get access to it. *shrugs*

What you mean they've closed it? You can still access it.

They aren't allowing new donors to get access to it. At least I didn't get it. A closed beta is one that only has a set number of participants.
