lol, yes. Graduated with a history education degree and what happens... I teach English instead lol. But this is where God wants me so I will adapt ^_^

Have we had this conversation before? (is an English teacher in Taiwan, hence the really odd hours)

As far as I know, there's just the me lol. Haru is in Taiwan too but I don't think he teaches.

I would enjoy it more if I was teaching history. I do like it and have fun with my kids and all. They are good kids and want to do well. If not in my class, then in life. I just have no passion for English, no experience, and no skills or training for this. My whole life was wrapped around history and learning to adjust from that has been hard.

Well one would need to use a program to pixel. :lol: I use paint tool sai, but others like to use good ol MS Paint or photoshop.

the paint program that comes with a computer? really? That is pretty sweet ^_^ so literally anyone with the willingness and time could learn. ^_^ there is hope for me yet!!!

What age group do you teach? I find willingness to learn disappears at a point and doesn't come back till it's too late. You get something out of everything they learn though. I do enjoy those moments of sudden understanding for them. I don't really have the training either and it was certainly not my plan in life. Like I said, we both fell into it. It's good money and it's a stepping stone to better things. One day :P

Yes, most pixel artists prefer to use MS paint because it's simple and because it already comes with the computer. :lol: I just use paint tool sai because it gives me the ability to pixel and use layers...it spoils me...

Narcotic - So true. I teach middle school and one high school class. These kids are amazing kids and I am truly lucky. Also it gives me experience to put on my resume ^_^

Demo - So I open the paint program and... then what? I've not used paint since I was like in 1st grade ~_~

And living in another country is eye opening. Let's not forget that! I teach kindy level. They are just the sweetest kids. High school would be interesting. I was a horrible kid at that age so I'd worry there was another "me" in the class lol

Well if I were you, I would look up some tutorials on pixeling. In MS Paint, you're really only going to be using the paint brush. That's for sure. Use it on the smallest size.

It has been for sure. My world view has changed and gotten wider. I was really frustrated with politics and some other stuff I encountered when I talked with family back home. I couldn't teach such young kids. Your amazing to be able to.
