They've got the whole my child is going to uni we've got a better house. But they stupidly let slip that you're not having a loft conversion we've only just had the conservatory done.

Wait you had a conservatory because we had one and you've got a second car because we have two, what you going to do when we get a third car.

And let's not forget they've got older cars because that's what they prefer, they can be done up easily not that they don't have enough monies to buy a newer car.
