And I swear there was another one but my brain just doesn't like functioning when I don't get a loooot of sleep at night. Which causes a problem since I don't get a lot of sleep almost every single night.... >,<

I'm trying to get more commissions. But I draw for a rather particular croud most the time. So it's hard to get commissions to come in with out having your name be well known by the community.

And yeah. It's really hard to do just particular things unless you pick people at random that you like or whatever. And then it's weird to do that and then ask them for money.... 6___6
But I dunno how you'd resolve that... Thankfully (I guess) for me I'm a bad enough artist that not everyone is flocking in... But I procrastinate so I always have things that need to be done... o-o;;

I'm not bad, just there's so many bad artist's in the community I draw for, that people get them to draw for them cause they don't really look hard enough to find the good one's.

Yeah... I'm not saying your art is bad I'm saying mine is. :XD
People who are really good get flooded with requests... So it's not all that great to have a shop when you're super-good. Auctions are better for such people... But auctions are better if it's on a smaller site like Menewsha or Zantarni or Solia or Roliana or Kinsaki etc.. On Gaia it would be hard to keep up with it... That place is too crowded. >,<

Yeah. I do agree. But gaia also is losing a lot of it's former members who have been there for ages such as myself. I was there since '04 and its sad that its a bunch of sell out idea's all round the place and not to mention how currupt the economy on that site is.

I stay for... my friends I have there and I like to mess with my avi. That's pretty much it...
And the only reason I'm rich is because I have rich friends. And some luck. People have donated to me.
But I prefer and spend more attention on sites like Zantarni and Kinsaki. Better role playing there.

Yea... I had a Roliana but it didn't last long for me... I dunno. I didn't do things right I guess. And the avis aren't so great to me. -shrug-

I'm there cause they're really nice. Like they are here. So I'll hang around till I'm unwanted.

I love sites where people are nice in all ways...
For talking and for donating. It's no fun for some people when they have crappy avis. -coughlikemecoughcough-
But it's annoying when people just want donations. Like on Gaia. A lot of people make friends with you just because your avi looks nice. Uhg whatever...
The main person who donates to me is really nice. I talk to him a lot. But he uses Gaia Cash so that's why he's rich. xP
But yeah. It's nice to have nice people... ^_^

Haha, your avi here looks nice. For mine on gaia, only looks good cause I used to buy MC's or DI's as they're called now. And the fact I was around for like forever and an age ago. I just joined Solia. It's really nice there. Gold is alot easier to get, and items are fairly priced. Though it confuses me the more I post, the less gold I get... Guess I'll just have to get used to it.

My avi here looks nice because of the event... I was laready going for blue/white so the fact that most of the free items and items you can but have blue and white was good for me... >w<
But now I have a ton of extra presents. I have to pick what charity to give them to although I might keep a few for sellin as well...
But yeah, I like on sites when the more content your post has the more you get. That's more fair to people who do long posts. I think it's annoying when people who post one word get the same amount as I do when I post a long role play message. That's a little unfair really... -_-''

Of all the sites out there, I would say that Menewsha has the best gold granting system. :3

I personally think Menewsha is a bit stringent with how much gold they grant for actions (not much at all, lol), but I suppose there's something to be said for EARNING your gold on this site, as opposed to just having it handed to you for everything you do. It makes you take quests and stuff more seriously, and keeps the spamming down.

Definately. I really like the system they have set up here. I mean yeah, it takes longer to earn gold, but it doesn't take as much money for the items.

Most definitely. The store items on Solia are as expensive as all holy hell.
I remembered talking A LOT with my friends when we had a chat thread around the same time the site first launched, and something as simple as a black long sleeve shirt took half a day to earn. Even the Donation Items were cheaper than the plain black long sleeve. :S

Also, Menewsha has good thread content because of the gold granting system, in my opinion. Or, maybe it's just the people. It's probably the people. XD
