I think an open musical category because there isn't as wide of a selection in movies :yes:

And for what's on DVD/Video, there's not as big a selection costumes-wise - a lot of them are based in the same time periods without a big differentiation in their clothing styles - they're all pretty "normal" and "casual" - so it's probably easier to go with a broad range, that way you can incorporate the oddities that never make it to DVD/Video, but are just on Broadway and the like :yes:

Also, I'd be specific as to what kinds of musicals you're looking for, if you want anything specific, because The Little Mermaid/Beauty and the Beast/The Lion King/Mary Poppins are all musicals originally made for movies, but they're also on Broadway :yes:
Pocahontas I'd consider to be a musical, but it's not on Broadway haha

Yeah people will need to think outside the box though, i don't want it to be too identical to disney movies which in my books aren't really musicals. If it's a Broadway show, that's fine but i want reference images and what not.

Right right - that's why I figured I'd mention that, in case they came with references from said movies and you were like "Wtf??" hahaha

The Disney musicals usually have the characters dressed in something very different then their normal outfit.
