Blitz nodded. "I can understand being an outcast." She said with a wince. "It's actually not as easy as everyone says it is being what society refuses." She said and took another drink of her water. She held a hand out to Tolkan, who licked it and wagged his tail, while taking money out of her skirt pocket with her other hand and putting it on the counter.

Anora took the stairs two at a time. She was dressed in her old outfit again, and felt refreshed. As she landed at the base of the stairs, she glanced at the bar. Her heart skipped a beat as she spotted Blitz. After a second, she let out a breath. Smiling again, she toook two quick steps, slide across the floor a lot easier then seemed possible, and sat in the chair next to her.

Anora looked behind the bar. "Can I get a cup of Hot Chocolate and a Dr. Pepper with a KISS of Cherry?"

Blitz looked around, getting an odd feeling that she was being watched. She looked at Anora and tilted her head, her eyes narrowing in curiousity. "Do I know you from somewhere? You look so familiar..."

Anora froze, then glance at her again. "I don't know. Ever get up north to the Valhallan Provinces?" Anora glanced at Blitz's wings.

Tabitha stared at the two girls her red eyes glittering. she looked at her hands again. she didnt like how pale she was.

"Once or twice." She said and tilted her head. "Have you ever been down south?" She looked at Tabitha and smiled a bit.

Tabitha smiled back at blitz and then looked back down at her hands, "i need to go somewhere sunny" she laughed alittle.

"What for?" Blitz asked and tilted her head. "Paleness looks very good on you. However, down south is always a very nice place to go for a good tan." She said on a light laugh.

Anora relaxed visably. "No. This is the farthest from the Valhallan Empire as I have ever gone. I'm a Knight, you see." Her back glowed white for a second, then large white wings burst from her back. "I left the Region just recently, on account of the war up their."

"Ah!" Blitz said with a smile. "Why did you get a little nervous when I asked?" She asked as she tilted her head.

"i look like i could be see-through" she sighed.

Blitz laughed a bit and shook her head. "You look fine!" Blitz insisted.

Tabitha looked up at blitz and giggled, "alright if you say so"

Anora smiled at Tabi, then glanced back at Blitz. "Oh, well, I thought you might have been a Knight yourself. You know, the wings an all." Anora smiled and her wings vanished. "So, if you're not a Valhallan, what are you?"

Blitz looked at Anora and looked away in embarassment. "Uh... well I'm an angel..." She said and looked around.

A smile broke across Anora's face. "Shut the Front Door. You're an Angel?" She leaned back and laughed. "That's awesome. I know most Valhallan's probably wouldn't give you as warm as welcome as I, but let me say with all honesty it is a pleasure to meet you." She extended her hand to her.

Blitz smiled and took her hand, glad that she wasn't going to act like all of the other people she had met and told them about herself. "Pleasure to meet you too!"

"So, an Angel? I can't say I've met a lot, or for that fact any, of you before." She glances down. "And how are you, big guy?" She reached down and scratched her wolf behind the ears.

She smiled. "This is Tolkan. He's such a big softy." She said teasingly as she wathced him lift his chin, expecting to be scratched under his chin. "And we generally stay hidden, mostly because everyone that sees us constantly asks for us to take messages for them or protect them twenty-four hours a day."

"Well, as a Knight, I have no one waiting for me where you are going" She reached around and scratched him under the chin, "and most Knights are to prideful to ask for a guardian, though we don't exactly need them."

Blitz smiled and sighed. "Tolkan and I are pretty much running." She said in a sad voice. "What about yourself?"

Anora's faced dropped. "Yeah, pretty much." She lowers her voice, glancing over her shoulder. "I'm not running from the war because I don't want to get involved. I ran because I didn't want to get involved anymore." She leaned back. "My past is one of fire and swords, but I don't speak of it in public. People may be... concerned to learn mt past, and I do love it here. It's like being with a family again."

"What's it like having a family?" She asked her curiously. Sure, she had a few people up in heaven that she could consider close friends, but none that she could consider family.

Anora smiled. "Well, I guess it depends on how you define family. As a Knight, both of my parents are Valhallans themselves. That means we fight and train with our free time. However, there's nothing like spending a night with your mother on top of the peaks of Asgard, watching the moon hang overhead."

She glanced into the distance, absent-mindedly scratching Tolkan's chin. After a moment, she snapped back to reality, and pulled her hand away. She looked down at it. "But having no family isn't always a bad thing.... especially when they leave you."

Blitz nodded. "That seems like it could be true. However, not knowing any joy of having a family at all is sometimes quite painful." She said as she swallowed hard.
