Ciaran stormed off down the hall.

Lena leaned back against the door. “Yes it’s safe. Ciaran will be gone soon then we can get you guys out of here. Don’t worry about Alice. I’ll get her back.”

Stella slowly climbed out from under the desk. “Why are the doctors so persistent today?”

Andrew took four needles out of the cabinet and placed them on the table beside Alice, three were a light blue colour and one was clear. He opened his file and then said "Alright Alice we are going to start with an easy one", he looked at the file thinking 'alright this one will attack the visual sense'. He picked up one of the blue needles and walked around the table to Alice and said "Here we go", he took one of her arms and placed it on the arm of the chair and held it there and injected the first needle into her blood stream. He placed the empty needle back on the table and then asked "Did anything change?".

Kelsey got out from under the bed. She was still holding her tail. "Its my fault. i shouldnt have sneezed," she said.

Alice looked over at him when he said that he was going to start with something easy, when she saw the needles she cringed a little and looked away. When she felt him taking one of her arms she took a deep breath and closed her eyes tight then waited for it to be over, she felt the needle peirce her skin and bit her lower lip. When he asked her if anything had changed she opened her eyes and thought about if she felt anything different and the said "No not that I notice" in a very quite tone.

Andrew looked at her and then said "Alright then", he turned to the table and wrote a not down on the sheet and picked up the second blue one and then turned back to Alice. He used the same arm again and injected it into her arm again then said "How about now?".

“You couldn’t help it Kelsey.” Lena tried to smile reassuringly at the girl. When Ciaran’s footsteps disappeared she sighed slightly. “Let’s get going before anything else happens.” She unlocked the door and opened it, peeking out just to make sure things where clear.

Alice looked away again when he got the second needle, the thing she hated the most was needles and he had four of them. When he asked her again she looked at him, things were a little blurry now so she said "Umm things are just blurry" she looked around the room to see if everything was burry or if it was just him but it was everything so she looked back at him and waited.

Kelsey followed her and stayed by her side.

Andrew smiled and said "Ok, one more should do it for now", he took the note and picked up the final blue one and injected it into the same arm and then looked at her and said "So what is different now?".

Alice looked away again but was glad that it was almost done, she looked back at him but nothing had really changed in her opinion so she said "Nothing it is still the same". She looked over at the table and then back at Andrew to wait again.

Stella stood behind Kelsey. “I hope Alice will be ok,” she said quietly, almost to herself.

Lena opened the door the rest of the way. “Looks like it’s all clear.” She lead the girls out into the hall. “Go on to the break room and use this pass to get into it if the door is locked. I need to speak with Alec for a moment.”

Andrew took the note and said "Alright then it looks like it will take a little longer to fully kick in", he picked up the clear needle and turned to Alice and said "So just to make sure that you don't run around to much I will be putting you to sleep". He took her other arm and then said "Night Alice" he smiled and then injected the clear needle into her watching to make sure that she fell asleep.

"Ok," kelsey said taking the pass and putting it in her pocket. "Come on stella," she said and began sneaking down the hall.

Alice looked at him and then tried to pull the needle out of her arm before it was to late but she fell asleep, the only thing that was going through her mind were his last words 'night Alice' and his smile. Her body went limp as she fell asleep.

When he saw her body go limp he took the needle out of her arm and then took all the empty inseams put them into the sink so he could deal with them later. He walked back over to Alice and picked her then walked out of his lab and down the hall to where her room was.

Kelsey couldnt help but worry about alice.

Layla and Alec jumped out of the vent when the coast was clear. He told Layla to go with the girls, and she nodded and went with them. He then looked at Lena. "What is it that you need to speak with me about? Does it have to do with saving Alice?"

Stella held tight to Kelsey’s hand as they snuck down the hall. She held her hand out for Layla when she seen her coming.


Lena nodded. “I want to you to take the girls and get out of here. In the back of the hospital there is a wooded area. I want you guys to hide there and wait for me. I’m going to get Alice. Now please hurry.” She glanced down the hall to see where the girls were.

"Ok guys come one," kelsey whispered. She turned the corner and the teachers loundge was right infront of them."Come on" she said opening the door. Cassie was waiting in there for them. Kelsey gave ehr Lenas card and Cassie hurried over to the door and opened it. "Get going you guys. Where is Alice," she asked.

When Andrew got to Alice's room he placed her on the bed and pulled the blanket over her and then left the room turning off the lights and closing the door.

Layla took Stella's hand and walked with them.

Alec nodded. "All right. I will do that." He said as he left and went to the girls. "We are going to hide in the woods that is behind the hospital and wait for Lena there." He said quietly just in case a doctor walked by.

"Good luck guys," cassie said. Kelsey smiled at cassie and walked out of the door.

Andrew walked back down the hall towards his lab.

Alec led the girls to the woods.

Lena went back to her office and grabbed a few things that she would need. She locked up her office then headed down the hall. As she walked down the hall she noted that Andrew was returning to his lab. He must have took Alice to her room. Quickly she make her way to Alice’s room.


Stella waved bye to Cassie. She stuck close to the others.
