People are so smart. "Oh, I didn't know I could get a sunburn while there was snow on the ground!" 1) It's sunny out, hence sunburn! 2) The light will reflect off the snow for double the sunniness. 3) I guess you don't know about snowblindness either.
I know, I felt like saying that too, but it was too catty to say that to them directly. XD I just brought up the snow blindness. And this kid's in Law School. *shakes head*
Hulu has their Criterion collection films all free to watch for the weekend. I'm going to watch The Red Balloon. I watched Charlie Chaplin's The Dictator last night. It was a rather silly slapstick commentary about Hitler and stuff. But the speech at the end is very powerful.
I don't usually buy the EIs until the end of the event.
Speeches of that sort really resonate because we're still fighting against a lot of the same sort of attitudes and behaviors. It's sad, but I suppose we can only change slowly.
I was up at four but linger down stair looking for something to eat but I found nothing so I just took a shower and put away my laundry by then it was like five five thirty since I take really long showers after that I cam on line an for an hour I was on other sites catching up on conversations and what not.
Did you go to bed really late or just felt like sleeping in really late?
What do you do on Mene then? If I'm not posting, I'm not really around Mene.
I went to bed really late, but usually I get up around 1 or 2. Today I got up and almost 4 as well. I haven't really done much. I meant to do laundry, but I've been lazy. I can still do a load or two, but I'm still being lazy.
I'm made a Hulu! The one other Criterion film I wanted to watch they want me to pay for, even though the entire rest of the Criterion collection is free. WTF! Poking at the other ones. Attempted to watch this Japanese horror flick called House, but whoever did their sound design needs to be shot. And you can see the weirdest parts on youtube anyway XD
