Yarn is awesome, even if I only know how to knit scarves, haha.
I knit my boyfriend a scarf one year for Christmas and it was a big hit so not knocking the scarf thing, but it'd be nice to expand my repertoire some day...

An extra wide scarf is a simple shawl. XD
It can be a little scary or intimidating to move on from scarves, but it's totally worth it. I think after scarves I jumped to fingerless gloves and hats, and then shawls and stuffed animals after that.

It's not a lot yarn, so they'll probably have to be pretty small projects.

I'm thinking maybe the teal/coral one would be fun for a mermaid plushie or two, not sure about the other yarn yet.

Oooh, yes! Mermaid plushies would be so perfect for that!

Idk why, but teal/coral yarns like that always make me think of koi fish for some reason.
I have a few other yarns in pretty greens and blues that I want to make mermaids with, but I don't know how many yarns I have in good skin colors....

I literally love that teal/coral yarn so much! It kind of reminds me of one of the blankets I have on my bed actually, though mine's a bit more pastel.

Excitement! I disappeared to craft and I am almost done with a custom order cat. Just needs eyes stitched on!

I'm okay! :) We did a ton of yard work yesterday and now my entire body is sore XD LOL

Aw, I hope you can take it easy today! Yard work is definitely tiring, lol.

Yeah, my hubby is the one usually in charge of yard work. But he's let it go recently so we were both out there working on it yesterday to get it looking okay again LOL Still got a lot to do but definitely a lot better than it was!

Ugh, I'm mad. I woke up legitimately thinking it was Friday and getting wxcited for sleeping in tomorrow. But no, it's only Thursday. XP

The holidays have just completely thrown off my week.

yeah they do that. im actually glad i have a streaming schedule because it counter acts that whole holidays loss of days feel as you keep track to make sure you dont miss a stream

The only time it's good is when you wake up thinking it's only Wednesday only to find out it's actually Friday :P XD

I also forgot to grab my wallet on the way out the door, so I have to rush home between jobs to grab it. I'll have JUST enough time to get home and maybe even scarf down a yogurt cup. Because it's an hour to walk from my apartment to job #2 but only 15-ish minutes from job #1 to home. So if I get out asap, I should be able to home with 10-15 minutes before I have to leave.
Today is just shaping up to be all kinds of chaos.

yeah thats kinda nice when that happens. a few weeks ago i thought it was tuesday and it was friday and i was like "where did the week go!"
