You use the orbs to level up your weapons which is how you increase your "level". @__@ I don't like that system.

It's rather annoying. =( Because the monsters aren't dropping orbs for me.
Supposedly if you lower your level, you'll have better odds of getting drops.
But that sounds stupid to me. =\ Why should your level effect your drop rate in areas?
I would rather earn exp by defeating monsters than waiting for some stupid orbs. DX

DX; I guess they don't want anybody to level up quickly and then be done with the game? Eh, Gaia's a rich man's game so I don't bother with it... It's a large community, but not so friendly sometimes.
