Hello! I have plans to take Pip to the vet ASAP, but right now I'm just trying to give her some time to adjust to our routine and know that she's safe.

That's great, Roses! Stress isn't good for a dog. Let Pip settle in, but don't wait too long to take her to the vet. And tell me how it goes! I'm worried about her.

I am very excited to have gone to the reptile and exotic show. I got to hold a very beautiful tarantula. She was amazing.
I also saw Patagonian cavies, sugar gliders, and baby prairie dogs! *squee*
@ Cap'n As soon as we have the funds for a vet visit, we're taking her.

Awww. Saravi...you could. You just have to see them up close. They're graceful, gentle, and beautiful. I'm glad to have them, without arachnids, we'd be overrun with insects in a matter of days.
I was afraid too til I had a couple for pets.

Spiders and I have an arrangement. I let them have webs in all the corners of my ceiling and anywhere they like outside. If they are on my floor, furniture, or self they are toast. And I mean that literally, I have an electric flyswatter and they sizzle and smoke when it touches on them. *shrugs* Overall the situation works out well for all concerned. They keep the bugs down and we leave each other alone for the most part. I'll tolerate just about anything to keep the mosquitoes at bay. They are far more annoying than the spiders.

@ Saravi, LOL well I have a similar arrangement with ants. They can have giant colonies outside my house. The moment they attempt to invade my kitchen or bathroom, they have signed their own genocide. I hate to have to take life like that, because all life is important to me, but at the same time, I'm not going to be overrun with creepy crawlies either.

The ants here are mostly fire ants and they are not allowed to exist in my yard, much less in my house. They make massive mounds and if you stumble into one they swarm and sting and it hurts like someone has a blowtorch to your skin. Regular ants are fine as long as they stay outside. Lizards....lizards must be rescued from our indoor cat if we catch her with a fresh one. A lot of times it's too late and we let her finish them off rather than throw them outdoors to suffer for a while before falling prey to something else (like the outdoor cat or our opossum). I actually really like lizards. They are cute. ^_^ Mice I'm okay with as long as they stay outside and out of my stuff. Grr...nasty little squeakers. Our house is in the country so we get all manner of vermin and insect life. The wasps are the worst, especially since my husband is deadly allergic to them. I'm terrified of him being stung so I kill wasps on sight, indoors or out. >_< It isn't nice but it is necessary in my opinion. O_o'
Bleargh...rambling. Tired now. I should got to bed. Night! *huggles the thread*

Hello again everyone. :) I want those auction CIs so badly. :cry: They are always so pricey gold wise. >_<; Oh well this means I should just hoard gold. :S

@Lizzy-dear- I empathize. The special auction items are a nice addition but I have none. No brown cow/blue gow, No eyes and yellow teeth, and none of whatever the newest one might be. Someone complained that someone with money bought them all up and then sold them for super expensive.
Moving... sucks... Right now the birdies are helping me transition from one crow's nest to a new one. When we're done and recovered we will proceed with drawing shinies for signature prizes. In the meanwhile, I still will give gifts to new users (ie EnglandsSweetheart).

It's not fair that the people that buy the auction CIs sell them to lots of gold. They are really greedy and such. >_<;
Then again life and Menewsha is not fair. :S

I wish I had the RL money to get the mennies to buy the Ningyo stuff. I looooove mermaid stuff. I think it's the coolest set of stuff I've seen so far, but I'm sure I've yet to see it all.

I donate $20 every four months for buying the CIs as they come out. It's well worth it, a nice little reward to look forward to when I'm drowning in life's issues. ^_^'
