I'm not too sure, actually. I thought of the name about 8 years ago and can't really remember. I was pacing around while writing up different names for a name which starts with 'X' or have the letter in it (cause during that time, I was determined to find names for my OCs which have the latter alphabets in them), and after a while, I found that name and liked it, and so it stuck. =D
Like the name 'Meinarch' (pronounced May-nark; silent 'h'), that one I was VERY sure I was pacing around in my room mumbling to myself. lol

I felt so ripped off xD;; I also have a Paisley Genesis, Daikouphnyn Genesis (I know, what was I on!?) xD;; and Locke Genesis - and then Lost came out, with a John Locke, and I was like... Haha Thank you, Nivvy! I have a whole list of OCs (close to 300, methinks, or more, never really bothered counting xD), and I only really remember the names of my core characters. Those I create with others I somehow can't really remember after not thinking about them for a while.

Locke is another one of those you think is rare but actually not names. My first encounter with it was actually Locke Cole from Final Fantasy VI (1996 game, hehe). I thought it was a very cool name that time, though. Still do. *__*

At one time I thought Dion is unique too. And then a few years later, a mum behind me suddenly called out for her son in churche "Dion! C'mere!" to my horror. And the spelling was exactly that on his name tag too. *sheds tear* ;__;
And Dion was promptly renamed after when I revamped the character (Nizuho Andrés Kieto). lol

What made me mad was Xaevan's name, though. For years, Google brought nothing up. Then one day, I saw it on a 'Name your baby' list online as a name meant for blacks (nothing against blacks, just that the name appeared on a name selection list as a common name). Grr T_T

The reason I only have OC charts for SAORA is because SAORA alone has about 200+ characters in the series. Because SAORA is divided to five generations, each generation having at least 20 (main) characters in them. xD

Hazariyu's was Kidezt. Vincenz's is Daevon. Jakriez was actually a code name I made for a character I have named Jay Cator before I totally revamped him, omit the 'actual name', and he is now a tanned elf-but-not with Jakriez as his actual name. xD

The SAORA progression and the sequence it was made is rather amusing, actually. It goes this way. xD

Gen 3 --> Gen 2 --> Gen 4 --> Gen 5 --> Gen 1

SAORA is an organisation of sorts. The reason for the skip from the fifth to the basics is because right at the end of Gen 5, SAORA would be totally destroyed with only two survivors, one of which didn't really care about reviving it, and one who disappeared like he never existed (which is Xaevan in an alternate-verse).

My main OCs, Hazariyu, Xaevan, Varuale and a few others work around a lot on the time and space travel thing, so a few of them may appear repeatedly in a few separate series I work on. lol

I'm not too much of a LotR fan, unfortunately. xD;
Gargoyles?! The late 90s early 00s cartoons, Gargoyles?? The one where they come alive at night to help civillians and rid the world of evil (sort of)? I LOVED that series, together with the Mighty Ducks, Mummies Alive, Biker Mice from Mars etcetc. I so miss old school cartoons. *O*

Michael.. I used to have a problem with variations of that name.
