Seems like everyone's been making trips to the hospital lately...

It really does. I've talked to several people who are also sick with colds and such.

Glad your dad is home from the hospital!

Josh has to go get his dad now, I guess he isn't getting surgery today. :/

It's great that he's home, but I'm going to miss having the house to myself.

That's understandable. I was hoping to have the house to myself today but it didn't turn out that way. T_T

Yup another flake.

We had some snow showers yesterday and today.

It's been cold and windy since Sunday. ;_;

Today the wind chill made things feel like they were in the single digits instead of in the thirties.

Yeah, I really didn't want to leave the house but I had a few things I needed to do.

I didn't have to leave the house, but I do have to take our dogs out. That is one job I hate in the winter.

Yeah, I would hate doing that too. The yard here is fenced in so we can just let the dog out the back fortunately.

I wish we had a fence for our dog. Luckily, he never stays out log when it gets too cold.

My dads dog loves to sniff around after cats have gone by. He always takes forever when you take him out in the middle of the night when it's freezing cold and you just want to go back to bed.

I wish we had a fenced in yard. Our dogs would love it.
My dogs take forever sometimes. It can take 10 to 30 minutes to take both of them out and get them back in.

Isn't that how is always is, though. The minute your all comfy and settled in, they want to go out.

And then you can never find that comfortable spot again...

That's exactly why I'm a cat person. I'm not a huge fan of dogs. They can be a lot of work.

Yeah, although cats can be trouble, too. Mine can't seem to get the point that running across the street after a squirrel is not a good idea. I've been leash training him, so I can take him outside with worrying about cars.

I'd never let my cats outside without having them on a leash. I would be heartbroken if they were hit by a car.

Dogs can be, but I still love them. I do prefer cats to dogs though except when you have a cat that thinks it's ok to go around marking stuff.

Ugh, yeah, that would be a problem. Fortunately our cat never did that.

He doesn't do it all the time, but it's annoying. I'm hoping that it'll stop after we get him fixed.
