I noticed you had no entries so if no one enters I don't expect to win anything. But I loved the avatar you had up and wanted to work with the colours you used. Not an easy task I might say. I applaud you! So here is what I ended up with.

With the cage in your hand, I thought bird. So using the colours you used and similar items, I attempted to create a bird worthy of the cage and owner.

She is the diety in which the tribespeople worship. Made up of the perfections from the animal world and representing the wealth of the land, they believe that she protects them from above and is clad in warriors armor to fight off any threats. They dress as closely to her likeness as they can, favoring her avian characteristics and utilizing the plethora of natural gold from the area. They cherish birds, and its considered a token of good luck to have them in their home. They use a small cage to catch the bird and bring it home, but believe that they are higher beings and deserve freedom. As soon as a bird is accustomed to the people and a home, they are set free to fly about the household and platters of food are left all around the house to thank them for blessing the household by staying. They have small figurines in their homes that represent her, and a statue and carvings in the village that constantly remind them that she is watching over from the skies.
