I tried once I think, I think I may have gotten a friend or two to recommend my famous pink and red avatar, but no one cared.

lol I've never been picked before, but it's alright cause, sometimes my avies aren't all that epic. XD

I so thought that pink and red one, and I am sure Miro know which one I am talking about, was pretty kick ass, but I guess I was the only one who thought that.

I feel the same way. There have been times where some avis were picked and, I don't mean to seem like a bitch, I felt that other great avis I've seen should have won instead. I always thought that the AP spotlight on the front page was for the most clever avis around on Menewsha, but for the most part lately I've just seen generic avatars or avatars that barely hold up a theme. There have been a few really good ones in between. It's like Hata said, though, it is AP (Jelly's pick) and not Demo's pick so I just shrug it off.
