But he's the Doctor! He must have known... it was intentional. I bet Rose loves Glee and he took her to see the filming. Don't ask me how Rose knows what Glee is since she left this universe before it began. Rose just loves Glee, okay.

I wonder if that's edited in, or if it's just a guy that happens to look like him... Exactly like him... O_O /goes back to watch episode
Either way... That picture is awesome.
EDIT:// I went and watched that bit and the actual episode, and it looks a little less like him, but only a little O_O;

Yeah, I think it was just the wardrobe. And the hair kind of adds to it. But wardrobe. Ah, the power of costuming.

I would like to think it was an intentional tribute by the costume department. Maybe Ten just really likes Glee! ...then again, maybe not. *hides*

Thank you for fact checking, zea.
Yeah, when he turns his faces looks a little not-Doctory, but, hey, David Tennant is an actor, not an alien. This is clearly the real Doctor. ;)

That would make perfect sense!!!! (or as much sense as anything related to Doctor Who can be)
-snickers- I've got to point this out to my best friends who are in love with Glee. They'll freak!

Hmm...I'm surprised he didn't receive more threats than that actually. I wonder how many RTD received after CoE? It'd be interesting to find out.
Not to mention the little bit at the end mentioning the next episode was interesting. That should be quite entertaining to watch. Yet again The Doctor is interfering with the time stream. How many times has he been to this period? On the other hand this is the first time that I can remember that he's gone to Eurpoe rather than teh UK during it.

Biggs, please do note on that link that mentions some major A Good Man Goes to War spoilers.
Pft, yeah, that makes sense. "I do not like what you wrote, thus you I will murder you! Or you should murder yourself." Because that's an appropriate reaction. I will never ever understand people. It's like this article I was reading about this Myspace "celebrity," some scene girl with an intense craving for attention. She got such severe death threats and vandalism to her house that she had to move... but the thing is, she didn't do anything other than be kind of annoying. It's not like she hurt anyone. So I guess if you're kind of annoying (as teen girls often are - get over it), that means you should... die. How do people get whipped up into that serious of a rage? I mean, just think about it, you see people like that all the time without even knowing it. People who just wish death on someone for the most minor of offenses. They're just walking around out there thinking they're a normal, balanced person. What the hell is wrong with people? I mean, no, really what the hell is wrong with them? Sure some of them may not be totally 100% serious about it, but that doesn't even matter, that's still seriously wrong. I'm annoyed by no end by Miley Cyrus, but I would never ever wish death upon her. Because I am not insane. That's just scary.
Italicized comment.

Glad the Moff can take it in good humour.
The worst thing is those people tweeting him probably call themselves Whovians/Doctor Who fans. A Doctor Who t-shirt was reprinted on a daily t-shirt website the other day and some users complained/stated that there had been a lot of Who shirts recently. Cue the 'hardcore fans' appearing to start insulting these people and starting unnecessary drama.

Ah, I didn't even read the article, I just saw that it was relevant.
I'm not that far along myself as it happens. Though, I've seen the first 15 minutes of the Almost People, and the writing is basically on the wall already, so I assume anyone who is as far along as that would be in the same boat?

Tom Baker's 4th Doctor. He played him for 7 years.
For the new series, David Tennant's 10, obviously. But an interesting thing to keep in mind is that while he only had 3 seasons, he was actually the Doctor for 5 years... Since there was no season for 2009, just a few specials, and he was in two episodes in 2005 (the very end of 9's last episode and The Christmas Invasion).

I agree so much with your comment, Cherry, about how crazy those people are. If a celebrity is annoying, no one is asking you to follow the news on them. It's actually really easy to ignore them, despite everyone claiming differently. Stop reading the gossip papers/websites and listening to the radio. If you go to the mall a lot, or other places where you're forced to listen to the radio, take your mp3 player with you. Or if you don't have one, focus on humming a tune in your head to distract you from what the radio is playing.
I mean really, death threats because you find someone who is not an essential part of your life (such as someone you live with, family, etc. who are more difficult to avoid) - actually, someone you don't even know in person, annoying.. those people need serious help. And the worst thing is, the fact they get away with it shows other people it's okay to behave like this. In this respect, anonymity on the internet can be dangerous. Why do people need to abuse all those wonderful things we have? :/
Also, to everyone in this thread: I cannot stress this enough.. but please, please, please watch what you post if it contains spoilers about the last two series, and any really major spoilers for any other series. I know sometimes people slip up, and I do my best to remind you if you do, as do other people in the thread, but please be careful. I would hate it if I hadn't seen the latest episode and it was spoilt here, because I know a lot of people like coming to this thread even if they are not up to date. :)

Yep, not impossible to avoid if it bothers you that much. I can't stand Shinedown and the radio station I listen to a lot plays them, but if it whipped me up into that much of a rage, I could just... not listen to that station. Aaaand I don't wish death on any of the band members. It doesn't bother me enough to change the station because it's just not that big of a deal to hear something I don't really like for 2 minutes. I think some people just like being angry... I mean, I'm sure you've encountered people who seem to just love finding something to be offended about so they can be outraged. This is just another version of that. Except instead of trying to get books banned, they're trying to convince people to kill themselves. Which just brings a whole new level of psychopathy to it... Kind of reminds me of an article I was reading a while ago about encountering psychopaths (lack of any kind of empathy for any other person) in the work place. A lot end up going undiagnosed or treated and are just... out there. And I'm not saying psychopaths should be locked up in a basement, and have the key thrown away, nor am I saying they're all evil, it's just... that you can end up hurt.
NO SPOILARZ!

I think another part of it (pertaining to the folks of retardation which Cherry and ljosberinn speak of) is that they are just trolls with issues severe enough to go that far. I'm not saying it's all 4chan, but I've read stories of folks from the /b/ board on 4chan who left death threats because someone was craving unwarranted attention on the said-site and it pissed off just enough people. Sometimes people from 4chan rally together against someone who actually committed a crime, but that's a whole other matter. A friend of mine told me that the chick who made that "Friday" song not too long ago received death threats. Why? Because she made a stupid song with a stupid music video to go with it? My friend also proceeded to say with sarcasm "I guess that's what you get for internet fame." It's sad, really, and whether or not some 4chan users made threats I don't now, but that video went viral in a negative way for a while on there so who knows. That's just a semi-recent example, though.

Yeah I heard about that girl, and it's just sick. She's also really young, like 15 or something. I don't like the song either, but I'm mature enough to just laugh about it (because let's face it, it is pretty funny in a lame way). Whatever, let her do what she wants, and if there are people who like it, then that's their business and not mine, or anyone else's.

I find myself singing "Fried eggs, fried eggs" whenever cooking or eating them now. Some people have serious anger issues.

Kat: That reminds me a little of what happened at school on Friday! In music we've been working on some song writing/performing, and on Friday our group presented and our lead singer said 'Fried Rice' instead of 'Fire and Ice' xD It was quite funny, and then we had an entire giggle-session about 'fried rice in the sky!'
Again, I know this has no relevance to the conversation, but I'm too tired to contribute anything else >_>
