Yes, I was actually. I've been here for almost 2.5 years now. I love living in Sendai since it has everything you'd need in a big city, but it's not insanely huge, crowded, or expensive like Tokyo. Aside from the coastal parts of the city, most of the damage from the earthquake has already been fixed.
