@Daemon; I tried not to eat anything sweet for a while, but I saw a piece of chocolate cake left and just had to eat it. I should have controlled myself.

Oh and our cheesballs this year are even better, they are the Devil's Cheeseballs, in recipe at least. They have deviled ham and cheese in them, along with pecans crushed up and they then get rolled together and frozen...it is soooooo good. :drool:

@Witty: Yum! The closest I ever came to making a chocolate roll was my grandma's "church windows" recipe. Which was basically a roll of chocolate, colored marshmallows, and shredded coconut sliced up.

@Witty: My mom says i can't share it because it is a family secret. I thought that was lame until i realized it was something her mom taught her a long time ago, and told her the same things...so it was really just a family tradition not to tell, or i would...christmas brings up all the good traditions, and then insults the ones deemed 'bad' but hey, at least we all have a common cause to get together!
