I've started to tune them out now. I all but ran home from uni to get in the flat before it was properly dark.

Star lost interest in bonfire night as she got older
not to mention fear of fire...

Proper fireworks displays are fun but kids who either don't know what they're doing or are intentionally being dickish aren't. -_-
