Nothing like having teachers talk shit about you behind your back apparently OTL

We have a K-2 performance tomorrow - all the teachers need to do is get there by the time I have told them and bring them in order from tallest to shortest. But apparently the K teachers talking shit about me in the hallway as we did a practice because I needed to be more organized, they need to know the exact order their kids are supposed to be in, what first and second grades are doing, what they are supposed to do before the thing starts, what they are supposed to do afterwards....

I don't plan the stuff that isn't music...so whatever is before/after is up to them. And they don't need to know everyone else's business. And it doesn't matter if their kids are in the exact same spot they were in yesterday...it really doesn't matter as long as every kid can be seen...I don't care if it's exactly the same. Seriously.

And don't talk shit about me in the hallway in front of the students and other activity teachers while I"m trying my best to get their kids to perform.

Wow, they sound like big jerks. Other teachers don't really appreciate music as a discipline. :(

No matter what i do, I always piss off somebody. I make decisions for this program that I"m supposed to do and are told by these people not to worry that they will follow along and it will be good...and then they talk shit about me behind my back.

And I have no support from the front office for this program either.

THis program was not my idea - it's a tradition of the school.

Apparently they've been doing it for decades. The teachers always plan stuff for kids and parents to do together before the performacne and then the parents leave afterwards...but this year they're all, "What are we supposed to do before it starts?" and I'm like "umm..what you've done for the past 30 years you've taught here? I don't know! I just do the music!" OTL

Eli: Yeah! If someone has an issue... Talk to them directly - don't act like a child and talk about them behind their back, that's what elementary and high schoolers do... not adults. -.-

Maria: I'm sorry that you don't have the support of the teachers, or even the front office!! :(

Same. Especially because I just am not like that. I go with the flow - I give up my planning all the time to make their lives easier...I never talk crap about any of them OTL

I'll get over it. Last year i pissed off a different teacher and it took her like 3 months to talk to me again. lmao (all because I changed the music that had been used for 10 years prior to that)....but she talks to me again. These teachers will too, until they leave...which one of them is retiring next year, one is moving this year...so....hopefully I will be free of the drama soon.

My roommates very clearly don't see it....

Is the scent too strong?

I'm not 100% sure what causes the headaches. I think mostly the scent - I don't know though.
I just know I didn't even get this one open before the headache hit almost instantly. :(

I was able to eat the samples yesterday before I bought them without feeling sick to my stomach (which is major) so I bought a couple - organic oranges from a local farm - thinking I'd be ok. :( apparently not. I miss oranges and orange juice. I guess I need to learn to cut them out of my life completely. T_T

I wonder if there is a milder orange you can purchase?
There are lots of oranges and tangerines...perhaps there is one that is less smelly and potent that may be better for you?

I've tried others - even orange juice makes me feel nauseous.
But the samples I tried yesterday didn't affect me as bad as oranges normally do, so I decided to just go for it. 4$/lb, not bad for organic!

I'm just really highly sensitive when it comes to smells, and orange is one of those smells that gets to me, and it's only gotten worse in the last year. Apparently I can't handle even natural orange scents. *sighs* :( I'd give you my oranges if I had a way of getting them to you.

Aw we have a ton of oranges here at least :P Florida is like the orange capital XDD

Alright, yeah - the Central Valley of California has quite a few orange farms.
