A woman who is rumored to have magic beyond all comprehension and the hero has to set out to find her to cure one of his team mates of a rare poison that is supposedly fatal and not curable, but he tries anyway. She is far out of the way, living in the deep of the woods and once he finds her she puts him through vigorous tests (aka CHORES) until finally giving him a cup of some strange drink, which does save his friend. However, when he goes to give back her cup the house is in shambles and it is revealed it was her ghost that helped him, and grateful he showed her respect, kindness, and patience the cup turns into a new powerful weapon.

The protagonist runs into her while relaxing at a festive in town one night. The two end up becoming friends, and she gives him/her a lantern said to have the power of repelling evil spirits. The protagonist found it most useful later when he/she went trudging through the wastelands of Dea'th on his/her next quest down the storyline.

You are, without a doubt, the final boss. You're one of those calm, quiet, supercilious villains who sends her "goons" out first to do the dirty work--- but who will not hesitate to kill you herself if you prove to be too much of a threat to her evil master plan.

Well, to explain more in detail, she'd be the runaway princess'es best friend who protects her mistress where ever she goes. She absolutely despises the main male protagonist as he tries to woo her mistress but learns to accept him in the end. She joins the team early in the game and is one of the more powerful ally characters. She's weak in short-distance combat but totally kicks *ss long distance wise.

the blind priestess who lives in the enchanted forest. You are the one to whom the hero goes to for help and advise in times of desperation, possibly shunned or feared by the nearby village becuase of your outstanding mental prowess, or possibly seeing though the pedestrian facade of everyday life; you are the wise one the player runs to.

The main hero, i'm getting the feeling of Angemon from Digimon, he was an angel digimon who helped them fight all the awful ones with his best pal Angewomon. you use your angelic powers to destroy the enemy's- per your human's wishes. although you are the all powerful being, you really are a pawn of that human. that aspect never made sense to me xD

The faerie form of the main hero, when she gets enough power-ups she takes this form to defeat the bosses

The bar owner's daughter in a small town who possibly gets kidnapped in the beginning of the game. Your kidnapping is what makes the hero realizes his destiny to do good and save the world. You are rescued pretty early in the game and join the hero in his quest and one of his followers. Your physical powers aren't something to brag about but you have really cute woodland creature animals that help you fight. LOL!

The strange guide that you can't believe your fallowing on some strange side quest, but in the end you get tons of experience and secret badass weapons

The embodyment of late summer. She lives within the castel causing the hero to spend almost an hour worth of out of game time to play all the way back to the castel. The walk is so worth it since she can with out some kick arse spells fighting the villians of the later chapters.

The villain's sorcerer that he uses to fight off the hero when they get too close, or send monster's to fight the hero and destroy him before he gets too close. You are evil and he pays you very much/you get good benefits--you love using your magic in a destructive way. Finally all that dark magic you've been poisoning your soul with is coming in to play and you love it!

A villager dressed up in festival gear. You see her in normal clothes most of the year, but this is what she wears for most of the town's festivals. She sells special sparklers only during festivals that can be used in otherwise black areas of cavern dungeons.

A panda who has run away from her owner and was wandering in the woods when the protagonist party finds her, all alone and starving. After giving her some bamboo they had in their inventory (+25HP), the panda follows them and eventually becomes a member of their party, specializing in short-ranged melee attacks and a special ability of being able to attract wild monsters to attack the party when they are in need of more experience to level up (much like what happens when you use Sweet Scent in Pokemon while standing in a patch of grass) by acting cute.

You would play that over-perky shop owner who tends to just pop-up anywhere you seem to need items(like the middle of a dungeon), and who just has to bright an outfit to be able to be ignored by the monsters that could easily swat the hero's party as if they were gnats.
