So... I hear Final Fantasy X and X-2 will be getting an HD update and will be released later this year. Despite me not liking this news in the beginning, I'm kinda happy now. My sister and I can play these games again. I'll pick them up for the PS Vita and PS3. How about you guys?

Yeah. I usually keep around either less than 250g or less than 4k gold on my main whenever I store my gold away on my Mule, mostly for the sake of buying new CIs. ;;

I still don't have an HD console. Still have my copies of FF X and X-2 though.

Like games I already have on Game Boy keep getting released in the 3DS e-shop. I don't want to buy them again.

You don't need an HD console (I don't know if that exists?). As long as you have an TV that supports 1080p, a PS3 and an HDMI cable, you can play the games. All three of those are inexpensive. You may spend... $400 USD total (not sure of what it would equal to in Pounds.).
