I chose the yellow ribbon:
It stands for several things but these stood out to me: Bone Cancer (grandpa died of it), American soldiers, suicide awareness, genocide awareness, and spina bifida.

The bandana is for the lose of hair from cemo for cancer. The skull belt is to show bone cancer. The gun is for the troops. The wings are to show the death is faced by these people. The rest of the outfit was picked to try and make a flowy ribbony feel.

The Ribbon I've chosen: The Green Ribbon.

I am using the Green Ribbon for two purposes, one as Bipolar disorder awareness and support, and the second purpose is Environmental protection.
I deal with Bipolar personally all the time and I am also into environmental protection as well. This is why I have choose this ribbon.

It was a really good idea though... I have a lot of friends that go to VT, and it was the worst experience. None of them were hurt or even close to the building, but one of them was in a dorm in the same hall as the first murder.

This color is a symbol of innocence, victims of terrorism, violence against women, peace, right to life, bone cancer, adoptees, and retinal blastoma

I chose this ribbon because my Aunt is dying of bone cancer and we are going to adopt her three boys if she doesn't make it. So this one hits home with me and it's the only one I wanted to do:)

OMG! The entries that I'm seeing are *bleeping* amazing!!! Are you guys sure you are using only eight items?! *O.O* *I'll be checking this weeks very carefully. :)

I am still in the hospital, and one of the drugs they are giving me is causing a strobe-light effect on my eyes and it makes it hard to see the computer screen and thus, makes it hard to judge. I will be extending the deadline - for when I leave the hospital, which in my professional opinion is going to be at least another week. I can't go through and update properly - damn funky vision!

i have been checking them out so far and i think everyone is golden on their item use. so i dont think you have to worry about that. but you do have to worry about judging. we made it extra hard for you this week. lol.
