Yokou blinked owlishly, then chuckled. "Relax, Athena. I suppose talking about marriage was a bit silly of me, it's just the way I was taught. And yes, I do kind of want to..." He cleared his throat slightly, blushing. "But not quite so soon. We should wait to make sure we really love each other. I kind of know what to do, so I guess we'll have to figure it out as we go along..." He said. The subject made him slightly nervous. "Why don't we go to the library for a little while?" He asked, trying to change the subject.

"Alright." Athena got up "I'll meet you there." she smiled and went to the kitchen cleaning up frowning as a noise came from the yard curious she went out. "Hello." she yelped as a hand went over her mouth struggling the person knocked her out.

Yokou nodded, then left seconds later to the library. After a couple minutes, he went to the window that looked out over the yard. Looking out, he just managed to catch sight of Athena disappearing. With a roar, he backed up and ran at the window, not even bothering to open it, and crashed through. Even from the second floor, he managed to land on his feet, and ran towards where he had last seen his girlfriend.

The person slipped her into a carriage and climbed into the drivers seat urging the horses into a ran vanishing into the woods.

Yokou followed, but lost sight of them when they rode off in the carriage. Enraged, he shifted into his demon form and took flight, following the scent of Athena that he had become familiar with.

Athena came to facing a man who was staring at her grinning softly she swallowed and backed away hitting the cusion. "YOu will be safe soon enough." the man smiled.

((Wolfie doesn't know what you want her to do while this is going on. Yokou's pretty much just chasing them, so...give Wolfie a clue.))

"Who are you?" Athena asked frowning softly "We are a race of demon hunters and we are going to kill that demon." the man smiled "But you can't I love him." Athena gasped "He must have great powers to make you believe that." the man glanced out the window then jumped out. "Welcome to our home." "That's a castle." Athena gasped "Yes my lady it is." the man chuckled "We are many." he afford his hand but when she didn't take it he pulled her out pulling her to the castle. "Yukou will save me." Athena snarled. "Oh I hope he comes make it to kill him." the man shoved her inside "Make ready." he ordered a boy as he dragged Athena to a room with only one door and no windows "Stay in here I'll get you when it is safe." he closed the door and locked her in.

Yokou arrived only moments later, having followed Athena's scent all the way. In his anger, he didn't even notice the presence of hundreds of demons hunters. He rushed forward into the castle, still following her scent. Whoever took her would pay, and dearly. "ATHENA!!!!" The yell was more like a roar, shaking the castle.

"Ready fire." The man laughed softly as the demon hunters shoot magic arrows. "Set up the barrier." he ordered as several hunters hurried to do as told placing a strong barrier on the castle. Athena head Yokou and struggled to get free to get to him.

Yokou sensed the arrows an instant before they reached him. Drawing his wings around his body, he was protected as the arrows simply bounced off harmlessly. "Hunters, huh? You've made yourselves a very dangerous enemy. And a very big mistake." He said, letting his wings burst back open. Taking to the air, He lit his fists on fire, getting ready to cause chaos.

"A flying devil it's been a while." The head hunter chuckled "Get the net, Keeping firing and get the guns prepared." he pulled his own gun out of his belt and fired. The bullets were magicet along with the gun to kill demons a girl joined the man notching an arrow she fired with accurse it sailed straight even with the wind.

In his mood, Yokou was just spoiling for a fight, so he smiled when the bullets started to fly. Flames surrounded his entire body, melting each bullet before it could hit him, and he began shooting flames in all directions, his accuracy almost perfect. His fire didn't stop the arrow, which buried itself in his shoulder. He roared in anger and shot a large fireball in the direction the arrow came from. One good thing about that arrow was that the pain brought him back to his senses, and he decided that he could fight on the run. So he started flying, once again following Athena's scent while fighting off bullets and arrows as he went.

The man pulled the girl down then nodded a pop was heard as they fired the net into the air straight at him "Even if you avoid it the barrier will keep you out." he grinned.

Yokou heard the pop, thankfully, and managed to avoid the net. So, they were trying to capture him first? He smirked. They would never get him. Just as he thought this, he hit a barrier of solid air and bounced off of it. Growling, he lowered himself to the ground, knowing that he would have to use his brain to get past this one. He surrounded himself in magical fire for protection and tested the barrier, trying to find out where it originated. They were not going to keep him from Athena.

The barrier was attached to a rock inside the castle. "Bring him down." The girl growled. They fired more shots at him.

Finding the barrier wasn't that hard, as it turned out. Keeping himself cloaked and defended from the shots, Yokou brought his hands together and fired a huge shot of black flame at the rock, destroying it and the barrier with it. Then he took to the air again, going faster this time, now desperate to find Athena. What if they hurt her? "Athena!!!"

"Keep the girl safe." The man ordered as the lady vanished into the castle she opened the room that Athena was in blinking when Athena tumbled out. "We have to go don't worry I'll keep you safe." The lady assured her "but Yokou already does that." Athena scowled "they will never be good for you there liars and they break your heart." The lady sounded like she was talking from experience.

Yokou could tell he was getting close. Athena's scent was getting stronger, and he could hear her voice. "Athena!! Can you hear me?!" He called, flying at top speed.

Athena swallowed and yelled running to him the lady cursed and gave chase pulling Athena behind her she leveled a gun a his chest "Not a step closer demon this one girl you will not harm."

Yokou was brought up short by a gun pointed at his chest. A woman was holding Athena back and threatening him. Growling, he grabbed the gun and crushed the barrel in his clawed hand. "Move aside, woman, before I decide that your life is not worth saving. You will not keep my girlfriend from me." He said, reaching out to bring Athena close to him. "You have a chance to stay alive, only if you walk away now. I truly don't want Athena to see the horrible things I can do to a person, but I won't hesitate if you try to take her from me or hurt her again."

"Us hurt her?" the lady snarled "You know hunters never harm anything but demons what you are doing to this girl is wrong break the spell you have on her and let her decided with her own thoughts."

"What in the world are you talking about? I'm a fire demon, I can't cast spells. And I would never force a woman to love me. I only want love if it's genuine, not some spell. I am at least half human, after all." He said, looking genuinely offended. "Besides, her best friend would shove a spoon through my heart before she let me take advantage of Athena."
