WEARING SHOES IN THE HOUSE. WHAT IS THAT MESS?

YES!!! WTF?! WHY DO PEOPLE WEAR SHOES IN THE HOUSE?!

Maybe I was just raised to NOT wear shoes in the house?! BUT LIKE. I remember going to my friend's house one time when I was little and she wore her shoes in the house and I WAS LIKE. WTF?!?! WHY?! D: WHAT IF YOU STEP IN POOP?! GUM?! YELLOW SNOW?! WHY?!

Also, it's just plain uncomfortable!

lol, another 'preference' thingamabob. some like, some don't. though alot of the time it gains its roots in culture with a cross reference to environment. in Japan shoes are socially/culturally never worn in the home, and left outside the door. yet I'm pretty sure that the Inuit people of the frozen north wear shoes in the home out of a sense of self-preservation. Muslims do not generally wear shoes in the home, depending on which culture they originate from, though it is a definite no no in the mosque due to religious purposes. in western culture however, the non-wearing of shoes in the home arose from the purchasing of expensive carpets/rugs etc. lol, consumerism, molding the lives of capitalistic citizens since nineteen oh when, subscribe with your national government today ��

lol, on another note, I hope you don't mind, but I've been 'noseying' in on your developments in singing/songwriting, and I must say that I am well and truly impressed by both your instrumentation and your amazing voice (very reminiscent of Karen Carpenter in her heyday, with a subtle hint of Corrine Bailey Rae). the ukulele doesn't sound half as temporally displaced as I would have thought, instead it delivered a very modern rendition and your chords were perfection personified. kudos ��

I dunno. I just feel like it's disrespectful to wear your shoes in someone else's home and even in your own.
Your home is a sacred place, it shouldn't have street shoes walked all over the carpet and the floors. D: By taking off your shoes when you arrive at someone's house you're saying, "I respect your home and I respect that you must like it to be clean, so I will remove my dirty, yucky shoes."

lol, a friend of mine once took his shoes off at a mutual friend's home, but his feet reeked something rotten and the host couldn't decide which one if the two of us it was (mainly because his eyes were watering up from the putrid stench) so now we're the only two people in existence allowed (forced) to keep them on when visiting ��

I'm going to do something I haven't done in months.......
I'm going to shave. D: I'm going to walk into my bathroom, grab my old razors and shave my legs and all the body hair from my body.

I used to stay hairy because I loved myself being a natural, hairy, normal human being.
But I'm so gross, I can't take it anymore. I guess this is what I do when I feel depressed... I shave.

They look at it as nature. I look at it as "I didn't do it when I was three, so why should I now?"

I dunno. I always felt better when I was hairy too. My armpits itch a lot when I have no hair under there and my legs get prickly really fast and that's uncomfortable too.

But today I just feel so nasty. Like, I feel disgusting.
I hate myself today.

I detest extra hair. Repeating myself, I didn't have it when I was three, so why should I now?

I don't like the prepubescent look for grown ass women.
I don't like being hairless and looking like I'm eight years old so a man can creep on me and think I'm attractive.

It's gross. Why think a woman is attractive when her body looks like a kid?! Smooth? No hair?! WHUT! So weird! Why do men find no hair attractive?! It looks creepy. It's not natural and I don't like it. I'm going to hate myself tomorrow for shaving. I'll be so itchy and uncomfortable.

I think hairy people are gross. It only looks good on the scalp. And the eyebrows. And the eyelashes. And nose hairs help us. Are there hairs in the ears, and aren't they part of the reason we can hear?

People watching can be fun.
But I find it a little boring unless I'm someplace interesting. Everyone here looks and walks the same.

Aahaha… I learn the whole choreography. I can't pick favorites, but maybe the hard ones once I get them down BECAUSE they're hard.

I probably have and forgot. I don't make a habit of it. It just happens. But when the idols themselves instruct us in how to do a move, it has a name.

One Thanksgiving holiday, when we were living with the BF's parents, I had dressed semi-casual, but respectfully for company coming to the oversized spread the BF's mom produced, but I neglected yo wear shoes over my socks...thinking nothing of it, since I lived there!
Later after the fat-bellied friends and family had left, I could hear the BF's dad bitching about "Disrespectful!...Did you SEE? She never even put on SHOES!"
....Yet, at the dinner table, earlier, his precious daughter's little brat blew raspberries at my plate until I couldn't stomach to put any of the food, there, into my mouth!
I keep my shoes on unless asked to remove them....cuz ya never know which side of the fence each person sits.

Ava....you need to start feeling better about yourself, Hon! You are NOT disgusting! ....maybe ya think you LOOK or SMELL disgusting, (which I'm sure you don't!)....but YOU....as a person, are Not disgusting!! ....just different, like everybody else!
