I've been trying to catch up on a lot of CI's and EI's from the past 3 years, because I'd been so busy with college that I couldn't be on here often enough to make enough gold for Ci's, because they were insanely expensive as soon as they came out and I couldn't afford them without a lot of saving. And EI's require so much time just to get them, and I didn't have that, so I was lucky if I even got a couple of them, let alone ever a set. Exactly. There are some real people just trying to get by and need some help because they're in a rut or elderly or came across some tough times. But there are also the people who are druggies and just keep popping out baby after baby after baby with no care in the world, and are super rude to people. They're what gives it all the stigma. I don't like that at all. If you can't pass a drug test, you shouldn't be taking money from the government and doing jack diddly squat to get out of your rut. But I know that if they required drug tests for people to get stuff like that then the world would be more fucked. Then they'd resort to crimes to get by, and kids would be left in poverty. :/ There is just no happiness to be found to make things right.

Yeah, I just don't get it. I was taught to have respect and manners all the time, so I really can't comprehend how people are like that. It just baffles me. When I see kids acting out and parents not even caring I just want to shake them and put some sense into their heads. It's because kids are being raised like that, that we are having people grow up into little assholes that treat people like shit.

Goodness. Yeah, it'll be interesting to see if she does it again, or if it was just some odd behavior that time around.

Agreed. I hate magazines. I think it's ridiculous that people are paid to snoop into other peoples lives and sneak pictures of them, and sometimes virtually just ruin their lives. And for what? Money? To amuse bored women who want some drama in their life? So many of these people are going through serious, and depressing things, like divorce, and then it gets thrown around and rubbed in their face everywhere they turn. It's just sickening.

I'll listen to those soon. I'm watching Attack on Titan right now, and don't want to pause it. xP But I'll try to remember to watch them later on.

I know exactly what you mean - it's definitely a pickle and it's tricky to figure out a way to get out of it without doing a ton of damage. That's honestly the real struggle - how to fix things without making the ripple effect negative. My Mom and I have been talking about things lately like this and we're starting to lean towards the idea of a depression like back in the 40s. I don't think we're going to be able to fix anything until we've destroyed our economy as it is and have to build it up from the bottom. It's an unfortunate scenario and hopefully we can avoid it, but the way things are looking it's the most likely outcome for all of this!

For sure! I'm hoping they'll be up for our family reunion next Sunday but not 100% sure - if they do though I totally want to see Keeda's reaction! Though it might be hard because of all of the random strangers we'll be having - so it could go either way with her strictly for that situation alone. I don't know how many people are actually showing up because my family sucks and can't be considerate and say anything, or even bring anything like ice or soda etc., but if a lot of people come then it'll be chaos so she will probably freak out for that alone lol (Can you tell I'm excited for the reunion? xD)

You know how I have the fibro - well we're trying injections in my back and hip (where I had the accident) and when I got the one in my back in March it was pretty okay - hardly any bruising or swelling or pain - I was basically unaffected! Well I just got the one in the bursa of my hip, and holy dear lord - it's bruised, major swollen up my hip back thigh and butt on that side, and my entire leg is just on fire - I've literally been in bed the last 2 days and am just now getting up out of bed. Sitting here at the computer though I'm getting the burning back into my leg, but I figured a quit jaunt onto the computer would do my leg some good! Probably going back to icing it and chilling in bed for the rest of the night after this though. Pain meds are just not cutting it right now!! T_T

It's sooo not fun! I finally had strength enough for a quick shower this morning to get my hair washed - I'd been hoping my Dad would scrub the tub so I could take a bath so I wouldn't have to stand, but that wasn't happening so I did the quickest shower of my life and made it through so I'd say I'm at least improving? Lol And did I mention I have to go downstate and back this week to pick up my cousin and her kids for the reunion on Sunday that we're hosting? Can I just crawl under a rock now?? LOL

I do but it's so hard to use laying down - it overheats really easily because the air vents and blower holes are on the bottom, so I have to keep half the bottom off the blankets by propping it on my knees - with the way I am now it's just wayy too difficult to be able to really use it so I'm basically on mobile. You can always tell I'm on mobile if I quote and have no coding or messed up words randomly - I don't always catch my autocorrect and it will replace words like bottom with loop or hair with girlfriend (I literally just caught that typo before posting.....) if I mess up somehow lmao!

Yeah, and they took it. We had brand new tires on there that I just finally finished paying off, and we wanted to take them off to put on my boyfriends car he just bought, but they told us that if we took the tires off then we would owe them money because the car is theirs now. -_- And if we wanted to keep the car, then they'd only give us $1000 and not the full price. So we had to give them the car and all my nice new parts that we've added to it just recently. It's got me so bummed out. And using my parents spare vehicle is draining all the money out of my bank account trying to keep up with the cost of gas for it. :(

Haha. I feel you there. I have the same problem. I could probably do the same, since my EI's are so scattered out now. It's a shame, too, because there have been some really awesome EI's out in the last few years! Totally missing out. I may have to go and try to sell some of my old ones I'm stocked up on to save up for the ones I'm missing. However, older EI's are worth less than current ones, somehow. I suppose because they've made them much harder to obtain

Ah, I know a few people that sell their commons to do that, but I never would, and still won't. But that's why I have so many commons now I feel like a hoarder all of a sudden. xP But I just found that I was better off saving gold to get stuff I wanted than selling off my items, because then I want those items back later on down the road. At least with the event commons you get back the same amount you spent, but then you're only breaking even.

I agree. Now that you've said it, I think so as well. I don't see us getting better until we've gotten worse. I find that it's reason like that, that I like dystopian novels so much. They really grasp how I think the world will be. We're going to get to a breaking point and things are going to get terrible for people, and then there will be a revolt, like it use to happen back in the day when things were unjust. The voices of the people are silenced these days, where as the people led the way in the old days (not including monarchy)

Haha. I'm iffy on reunions. I can stand my family in small doses. xP I had a belated graduation celebration with family, and I spent most of the time sitting completely away from my family catching up with a friend that was able to make it that I probably hadn't seen in 2 years. I find family can be awkward, and I don't always know what to say, because they ask so many questions. Plus, I just saw the majority of them recently (all live close by) because my grandma was in ICU, so we were all at the hospital daily until she was better. That's true, though. The reaction could easily just be from being overwhelmed by all the people. Our cat hates strangers, so if people are over she'll leave the house and not come back until quite later in the day or in the dead of night. She's not social. xP Our dog was always a social creature, though. She'd huff and puff when they first arrived (if she didn't know them) and then just adore them once she knew they were okay. She loved attention from anyone that was willing to give it to her, and she really liked to meet new dogs. It got hard on her in her old age, though, because she just couldn't keep up with them anymore. :(

I haven't been to other countries, so I really couldn't put my part in on that, but I do know that it's a real problem here in the US. But just look at the shit that is on TV these days. It disgusts me the stuff that people want to watch. The general IQ of this nation is going to shit, fast.

Mom would but she can't bend with her back and knees - it's harder for her than even me to scrub the tub. :( Otherwise she totally would have! Plus she was my driver for the injection (had to go to VT for it as that's where my doctors are) so she wasn't home to "make" Dad do it :/

About 4 1/2 hours away but the entire trip took around 12 hours between stops like food and gas and packing the car - and I had a couple errands to run at Kohls on the way down And I had to go along because Mom can't GPS for the life of her and has always relied on me for it, so I always go with her whenever she has to do long trips like that! It's been scheduled for over a month so I couldn't back out because of the reaction - wouldn't have been fair to my cousin and her kids because they've been looking forward to it and couldn't come up otherwise. :(

It was basically all really bad timing lol!

Funny you mention those! We actually have one we keep on hand for just this type of thing and I'm too stinking short for it - it literally sits at my chest - I can't use it at all - it's ridiculous xD;

I figured out how to turn mine off, but then it doesn't show me the correct spellings anymore! It's like, just because I don't want you to automatically predict, type, or change for me - it doesn't mean that I don't want to see if I'm spelling things wrong!!!!

I swear, for every part of technology that's great, we have these stupid flaws that no one thinks about.
