@Aislin: It's my favorite version of Peter Pan. <3 I would recommend the book, but if you sort of want your childhood spoiled a tad, then you might be better off not reading it. XD Still a great classic, though.

I've been working on drawing too.
I have a few goals involving more variety for my chars.
-More chars of different races/ ethniticies sp?.
- More chars with different body types.
- Better designed clothing
- Adding backdrops.

If I install the new scanner, maybe I'll scan the picture of my char Claudia here for that contest. She's a char I wouldn't draw much as the wheelchair is very tedious to draw.
I drew it once and it didn't have the patience to do it again.

No, I don't like decomposing. It smells. :gonk:

@Aislin: I love fantasy novels the best . . . anything with a good romantic plot and I'm game with it. :) Also love mystery crime novels like John Grisham.

@ Wendy: Fantasy lovers unite! Within that category, I consume books like candy. I actually haven't read John Grisham, but I have some of his books because of library booksales. The only mystery/detective style novel I ever read was one of the Agatha Christie books, which I remember liking.

I like the games better, "The Room" makes me laugh and there are tons of spoofs on it. *has a ton of pyramid head cosplay pets*

I find body proportions for regular people fairly easy...My eye does it automatically. I can often draw a figure without measuring and when I'm done I'll often find I got them right. A lot of people have told me my proportions in my regular figures are good, so it's nice.

It's when I switch to someone not of perfect body weight or different shape that I lose my touch. I end up having to measure excessively to get it right. And even then it doesn't look right.
OF course most drawing books and sources do tend to focus on a regular person with normal weight so I'm out of luck there.

OK, so I've tried drawing this male character and make him buff looking. So now he looks like a super hero character, which was not exactly the goal. I pretty much gave up on drawing this character in the past due to difficulties.
