True. I think I started going onto forums at around 14 or 15...I could hold decent conversations most of the time, but now that I look back, I still think I was an idiot. :XD

Also, I think everyone at 13-15 is kindof stupid, but you grow out of it. Sometimes I think they just need to get it out of their system.

I used a lot of words like 'ppl' and others...thankfully I never picked up 1337. I couldn't understand it for my life XD;

@Hawk: 1337 is a form of chat speak, I think...where they use numbers and other symbols to replace the alphabet, like @ for a, 3 for E, etc...it's a pain just looking at them. :gonk:

I think that's the idea. Its for those who are computer peeps that are "cut above the rest." sorry. i've had a bad experience with an ex-friend who knew it and thought he was better then most people. it was annoying.

I can imagine...it was annoying reading through several pages of 1337 speak and not getting any response from them when you ask them what they're talking about. Jerks...(they were people I know too, so it added to my frustration)

I really don't think it makes you better than everyone else.... I think it makes you a bit more eccentric to say the least, I mean, who really wants to go through and replace all the letters of the alphabet with symbols?

Yeah, it's a lot of fun. Honestly, i just like the click-clack of the keys and the way it feels to push all the buttons. :D Yeah, i like pushing buttons XD
