There sure is
I learned this as a kid at a camp. You can see it here. Kids really get into it and like it, actually.

I'd forgotten about it, up until the kids I use to work with would start singing it after they got back from the camp. They really do love it, and it's one of the easier ones for them to remember. The chorus, at least. But many songs that also have interactions in them are a big hit with kids.

I can't remember if we sang anything back in the camp I was in one year, so long ago.

Yeah, this camp is just for the 6th graders. And it's not the same one that's from that link

I can't remember what the camp I entered was called. I just remembered catching a giant grasshopper, which then bit me, and I flailed around until its maw disconnected from my finger. Ouch. ;;

Oh and there was this drawing contest that we had that was supposedly for the design of 'next year's camp T-shirt' or something...I drew something generic-creepy, which naturally meant it was not considered at all...can't remember the winner's design anymore but I remember back then that (to me) it looked boring. Colorful, yeah, but oh so boring.

Oh dang. That sounds really painful. D:
Did you develop a fear of grasshoppers? :O

lol I've had times like that. Where you just look at something and go "Really?...No, seriously, how'd that happen?" Happens all the time. I'm often disappointed in judgings.

lol It was. xD It didn't break the skin I think, but my finger was a little bruised.
And nope; I caught a lizard in a park and kept it as a pet for a while in a tank...my mom and I would go over to the grassy plain near our apartment and go cricket/grasshopper-hunting for food for the lizard. :P
Then again those food-bugs were a lot smaller than the grasshopper that had bitten me...

Haha so true. Sometimes I have no idea what goes on in the judges' mind. I mean, I know my design wasn't great, I didn't even like it myself all that much, but...really? The winner's design was awful. I remember seeing several other people's drawings that I liked a lot more. >.>

Yeah, when I was younger I would catch grasshoppers in the school lawn and keep them in a little container to take home to my lizard.

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes I feel like systems like that are rigged. People don't want to choose the very best, they want to pick one a little bit further down so that the people that really suck at stuff still have a little hope that they could make it some day too

Yeah, I managed to keep the lizard alive for a few months before we took it back to the park where I caught it from and set it free. It didn't want to leave I think, wouldn't move after I plopped it on a tree even after I poked it a few times. I think it got used to just sitting there and it would rain grasshoppers onto it.

That...kind of sucks. Not so sucky for the bad ones because they'd have a little hope, but definitely sucks for the ones who actually have what it takes.

Why'd you guys decide to let it go again?

I agree. But I think that's how it works sometimes, because that's certainly how it seems. I think people do that here on mene a lot, too.

That's often correct, but doesn't mean it couldn't have lived well. We have a snake from the wild that loves us dearly and does very well. What kind of lizard was it?

I have no idea. It was just this random brownish lizard I plucked off of a dead log on the ground. The body was around the length of my palm, my entire hand if including the tail length.

Yeah, I have no idea. Lizards can be all sorts of different sizes depending on age of the species.

I wonder if it was an alligator lizard. They're quite aggressive, though.

---------- Post added 01-08-2014 at 12:24 PM ----------

It'd also highly depend on the area you live in. For me, the main lizards you ever see are alligator lizards and blue-bellied lizards (which are sometimes a more brown color, too). So others in different countries or regions I'm not too familiar with. I know that Hawaii has brown anoles (as well as green ones). It may have also been a skink.

Haha I can tell, just from the name.
One of those native lizards around here are too...if you catch one they'll be trying to bite your fingers off. Another one that's slowly been taking over the native lizards around here is too...and it's a little worse because they're much faster than the aforementioned native lizard and larger. They both try to eat your fingers.

Let's see...*Googles for their name in English*

The native lizard is called Japalura swinhonis, not sure if they have a common name because there isn't an English wiki page for it..
The outer kind of lizard that's been taking over the native species I think is known as the East Indian Brown Mabuya, though there are a lot of different types of them so I'm not sure if it's the exact same breed or not.

Japalura swinhonis:

Yup, that's probably why they got their name. lol They're mean little buggers. I learned that quick as a kid when camping to not touch the alligator lizards, because I always use to go hunt down blue-bellied lizards.

Awe, that first one is so cuute! o 3o What a precious face, and it's raised spine down it's back makes me think of a Mohawk. It looks like it'd be a little punk. The second one looks like it'd be nice, though. With how sleek it is, it wouldn't seem mean. I'd regret the decision to try to touch it pretty quickly, I'm guessing. xP

It's kind of hard to catch the second one unless you're in a really advantaged space where it can't get away or hide into a crack, etc. They're really fast. I tried tiring out one once, and finally eventually managed to catch it. I love how its skin feels.
