I also miss the old animated Disney movies. They're coming back with a new traditional movie, but the plot seems weird to me. Apparantely, it takes place in New Orleans and it's going to be about a frog princess. Since it takes place in New Orleans, the soundtrack is going to feature jazz music, which I really don't like. I miss their sing-a-long songs. xD;;

Disney should really just let Pixar make its 3D movies (because those are awesome), and it should go back to creating good, old and original animated films. All their stupid sequels are awful. I refuse to watch Pocahontas 2 or the 101 Dalmations sequel because those are my favorite Disney movies and I think the sequels might ruin them a little for me. :(

I loved Lion King II when I was a kid. Then again, I was a kid. I'm afraid to watch it nowadays... I also loved the third Aladdin, though I wasn't very fond of the second one. I had the biggest crush on Aladdin's dad when I was growing up... ;;>.>...

Oh, and as a kid I liked the Beauty and the Beast Christmas movie. XD All others, though? Total suckage. And I always hated those 'Disney princess' movies and crap. I always felt they were completely pointless save for to encourage little girls to dream for the absolutely impossible instead of giving them big dreams they could reach - like curing cancer or inventing functioning artificial muscle tissue.

Hey, I actually thought Pocahontas and Mulan were really good heroines. The older princess ones... not so much, but you have to look at them in the context of the times when they were made. I mean, has anyone watched Lady & The Tramp recently? xD;;

I was always one of those "I wanna be a Princess!" type of girls when I was younger, but nowadays not so much. ^^;; I enjoyed them as a kid though and appreciated their pointlessness, I guess, mostly because I never took them TOO seriously, and knew that it was more of a dream than reality (unlike some who believe in them whole-heartedly). The idea of princesses still fascinate me today though. ^^;; Must be the dreamer in me. xDD;; <3<3

My favorite animated movie would have to be Anastasia, which I didn't know that it wasn't a Disney movie only years after it was made, since, I dunno, I have bad memory or something. xDD:;

I was the one that played in the sandbox with the boys and their hotwheels and would sit outside in the mud and play with the animals. hahaha.

I think I was girly girl and a tomboy at the same time, actually. xDD;; Mostly cause of my brother, who I would race Hot Wheels and Tamiya cars with and play Beyblade and robots and other stuff with, while still watching my princess movies. xDD;;

I remember always playing legoes with my brother, and we'd have competitions when it came to anything. Typical brother and sister.

Lol, Disney. XD I've actually had an in-depth debate about Disney sequels between my friends. The only sequel that we can all agree was better than the first one was the "Rescuers Down Under" (compared to the original "Rescuers"). Not saying the first one was bad, but that the second was more enjoyable to watch.

As for sequels that I think are good, but not quite as good as the originals, those would be Aladdin and the King of Thieves (which has already been mentioned) and I did actually like the Beauty and the Beast Christmas movie, although it's been quite some time since I've seen it. I hear Bambi 2 isn't terrible (though not great) and one of the new Cinderellas isn't bad either, but I've yet to watch those.

I want to scratch off my ears anytime I hear a Lion King 2 song. XD Well, some of them are so bad they're funny, but I can't stand "Upendi". Ugh, watching clips of the movie to try to find a song remind me how much I hate it. Such a ridiculous soap opera... staring lions.
