Aw thanks guys!! I got inspired by the sheers - they reminded me of The Secret of Arriety/The Borrowers so I made a regal woodland fairy tending the orchids! <3

I do have to admit I think you nailed it on the head for that theme

I love how the ghosts layer with the nightmare tome btw - it looks perfect together!! Especially with the fog rolling in over the entire scene except those rocks in the front - really well layered Shania!

I know what you mean about the rocks in the front... it just without anything there it looks funny... and my options were these rocks or skulls... and couldn't really choose though

Oh no - I love that the front rocks are darker!! It gives the pool more of an effect - like the steam and smoke is coming from the water itself! I really love that layering effect!!! I definitely vote rocks vs skulls - the rocks just fit perfectly and give the illusion of a hot spring of sorts that's a portal to hell! <3

Ohhh oops, yeah that is why I voted rock over the skulls as well , they kind of just sat the funky like they were sort of coming out of the water but you couldn't really tell

Yeah I think the skulls would sit funny too - the rocks look awesome though - definitely keep as is! :D

Thanks, my most proud feature I think would be that the log looks more like a pathway beyond the cave entrance.... at least in my opinion because it doesn't look round like a log with the stone pillars in the way

I agree! I didn't even know that was a log - I thought you had a floor like the carrot patch or something down!

Nope I did attempt that though... it just got covered completely by the water so it was useless in the end so I had to swap it with something that wasn't a flooring... and the log fit the bill

The green frame part is from Irish souvenirs it was a gift from staff during an event and the flowers on my frame is from spring glade ^.^

I'm glad it doesn't this is my first non avi avatar so I really tried to go more out there with the background, I do have to say if I threw an avatar in now it might look a bit busy if I didn't do it right

There's something so incredibly admirable about an avatar that can have a strong visual impact while only using a minimal number of items. That's exactly what salvete has managed to do here: I could probably count the number of items on my left hand, but look how well they work together! Look at what a wonderful scene they manage to create! Salvete easily could have gone overboard and added an extra dozen posts and layers, but none of that was necessary. What we have here makes me smile so much.

Great job!
