Could like give clues and you have to take a picture of what you think the clue is saying or something.

Example: What is yellow and when ripens turns brown.

Sounds good, though remember that not everyone might have the perticular item at home. I used to have a similar treasure hunt on gaia, though just stated the object(s) they needed to find or the action they needed to do. For example:
-Show me a royal flush in your hands-
-Make me a sandwich that spells your username some way-
It's a lot of fun xD
And we played for points so everyone had a fair chance to win something at the end
