I got me some magic in this satchel! *a bright light shining out as I open it slightly and peek inside* o 3o
Suona. I especially dislike it when people you barely know are the ones doing that. They pretend to like you and get really chatty with you. But to them, it all leads down to wheather or not your going to give them stuff. And I'm just like, :talk2hand:!

@ Ese - I feel like a copy cat because I have it set on my profiel to say the same thing, but I have always called myself that. :cry:
I had it up before I knew she was considered that too...so i'm rather reluctant to take it down
@ Nifer- Yeah! I know what you mean. I've gotten a couple PMs here before with just people saying that I have a lot of gold (when I use to keep my gold on my main and had a bit saved up) and asking if I could please donate to them since it wouldn't be that hard.

I've got two of those just this year. They private message me first, acting all coy. "I'm new, can you show me how to make gold?" or "I'm new, will you be my friend." then after I offer to help or be their friend, it's like, "kewl, i can haz gold frum u nao. :D11one1!" It's not even a question, it's a statement/demand, haha.

Oh god, I hate people like that. I hope you both reported them instantly.
I used to get crap like that on Gaia all the time. A PM going all, "You have a gorgeous rich avatar, I wish I could have an avatar like yours!" And I had even gotten several comments on my profile demanding that I take things out of my shop and GIVE them the user making the comment. Yeah... Didn't happen.
I even had a few assholes threaten to hack me if I didn't give them all my gold (which really wasn't all that much - I'm much richer here than I ever was on Gaia).
Seiki: OmG!!11!11!! Gimmie ur itemz!
I am totally and completely kidding about that. Seriously. I admire your inventory, but I'd rather buy stuff from you than swipe things out of your inventory.

Nah, didn't report them. Just was straightforward with them. "I will not give you my stuff. But I will help you with anything else." I think I'd rather give them that push instead of just reporting them. Unless of course they was persistant, then I would go for the more desperate measure, to report them. Haven't had to do it at all. I just hope they didn't find someone else to harrass. If so, surely that other person would have reported them I guess.

Sorry flea. o_o; I wasn't trying to humiliate you - I was teasing. o_O; Sorry for upsetting you. o_o; And I don't think anyone thinks you're gold obsessed. You're more quest obsessed. XD;
You remind me a lot of a friend of mine who was always saving up money for something and as soon as he got it he had to find a new thing to want. Not that he didn't appreciate what he had or anything, but he had to keep shooting for something or he wasn't happy.
XD Yes. I've been called "Crusher of Dreams" for about... almost a year and a half now. XD I think it was Jelly who called me it first. Jelly or Juru and it involved me denying cookies in some format. >_>;
But it's great to meet a fellow Crusher of Dreams. :insane: We should start a society!

Jennifer: I think it's kinda important to report begging users and users breaking the rules. I feel like an accessory to the rule-breaking if I don't report them. =S

@ CK - We totally should!
I know a lot of guys that are like that with relationships. They have to always be in a relationship or they act like its the end of the world and are always depressed. They've gone through a lot of girlfriends, and I sometimes don't want to be near them because all they do is search for sempathy when they're single.
@ cricket - I don't report them.
I tell them that I worked for what I have, and they can do the same. That its against the rules to beg and that they need to not do that and ask them to leave me alone if they're going to be rude, but they can feel free to ask me any questions about the site.

I know a lot of women with the same relationship problem going on... The reason that happens is because they depend on another person to give their life worth. They'll never be in a happy, 'perfect' (I do believe that perfect relationships exist, but not that everything that happens in them is perfect) relationships until they feel complete on their own.
You don't need another person to complete you. You need to complete yourself.

Yeah, I know a lot of people like that. They're incredibly insecure about themselves and so they crave the validation that they are worth something by their ability to secure someone as their significant other.
I know a guy who stayed in a completely dysfunctional relationship (he hated her and she hated him) just because he felt like he had to be in a relationship. It scared the hell out of me. He was only sixteen for cripe's sake! People that age shouldn't be so desperate for that sort of thing. ._.;

I think that I'd rather give someone the opportunity/chance to realize their actions and fix them, rather than report them first. Consider it a warning of sorts, ya know? The last person that private messaged me asking for things, I talked with. And I think it really helped them a lot. I understand that they should have read the rules in the first place. But sometimes, If a simple warning helps, then there is no need to report someone. And it keeps things peaceful.
CK, that sounds like my sister Elizabeth. She's sixteen years old and with a guy that treats her like crap. I have told her many times what I think. And she'll be like, "You're right!" but then when he comes around, she changes her mind about him. I think she's only with him because she wants to be in a relationship. Same with him, because as much as he doesn't even pay attention to her, last time she tried breaking up with him, he cried like a little baby, haha.
