*huggles the thread*
Crow: Hang in there. I know it can be rough. I've been there personally and I've struggled with my husband as he deals with severe depression as well. You aren't retarded. When I was depressed in college I slept curled up in a little ball on one end of my bed for about six months because I had dumped laundry on the other end and moving it was too much energy. I also have been known to go a month or more without showering when I get into a bad slump. Just try to focus on taking care of yourself. You may not feel like doing it but you will feel a bit better once you are clean and fed. *huggles* I'll keep praying for your mother and for you.

Well, thank you for your kind words, everyone. I still think my "not having pants" scenario sounds rather contradictory to my cause when I'm constantly trying to convince people that I'm NOT "a danger to myself (or others)", or not in need of inpatient hospitalization. I know that there are some people that would be fine and dandy with throwing me in the system then misplacing the key because they don't have the budget to hire someone to keep track of that :headdesk:

*huggles* Well we won't let that happen. I'll drive out there and storm the gates! :illgetu:
Not having pants is hardly what I would call dangerous...perhaps risque. ;) Just know you aren't alone, okay? *hugs* You have people here rooting for your mental and physical health. ^_^

lol. I prefer skirts personally, usually floor length ones. Less issue if I run out of clean undies. ;)

Well, at the moment my washer is a mixing bowl so washing clothes is a bit more of a chore than usual. >_<
My sister is having her baby! ^_^ We are going to go up and see it and try to help my parents with the hurricane clean up this weekend.

I've got no electricity so I'm having to wash clothes by hand. The largest thing I have to wash them in is a mixing bowl. Socks undies, wash cloths....anything bigger gets tricky.

I bet you could Febreeze the bigger items to help keep 'em fresher for longer and you could hang 'em up to help them air out after each wearing. It's really lucky that you're able to have clean under things, however. :D Dirty under things only serve to make you feel that much dirtier.

winterbubbles1: Sorry I didn't greet you right, but welcome to Menewsha and to this thread. Also like everyone else said, your five posts only counted as one, since there is a post merging system on Menewsha if you try to make multiple posts within the day and such. Again, Welcome to Menewsha. :)

After you've chatted here for a bit and earned your starter shirt, I'd recommend checking some of the other charities that cater to newbies, like my own, where you'll be able to earn more items by posting. At my charity, I give out a top and bottom piece for each new person.
This goes for you as well winterbubbles1: the post that you made before will only count as one so you've got four more to go!
I also thoroughly recommend putting a link or banner to Crow's charity in your signature and hanging out to chat with the regulars here; you can win really cool items from Crow and everyone here is a lot of fun to talk to.
