Ahh... That sucks.
I had the same for both xD
I like her better than the one who is my current AP teacher. I could teach this stupid class better...

@Kin
I think that Lit teachers are required to be partially insane. My AP English Lit teacher was a burned out hippie who loved the slackers in class and pretty much ignored the rest of us. :stare:

The English "department" when I was in HS was comprised of three teachers in rotation, which really was unnecessary in a school of 130 kids. :)
@Knerd
My bona fide English teacher was a fastidious totalitarian who only paid attention to the hard workers and ignored and berated the slackers. :)

@Knerd: Mine just loves sex so while, yes, many things we are reading are about sex, she doesn't talk about anything else. It gets kind of old. And she knows that I can teach this class so she doesn't care if I don't do anything. But it's my first period and I'd really rather not show up if I'm not going to learn anything. I actually kept on coming late and she was offended so I figured I needed a decent grade so...
@Kinmotsu: We only have 100 students but we have three math teachers... Two of them teach freshmen, one teaches all of the sophomores and juniors, and one teaches us seniors.

Well I haven't taken lit yet. Still on AP language. But I think we do enough reading for that class.

Oooh! I just noticed the really cute art in your first post, the one of your avatar, Flarra. Did you make it??
@Knerd: I go to a teeny tiny school.

Wow, hearing about your English Lit teachers makes me appreciate the ones I've had. xDD;; I've had some very batty ones myself (like one who made us recite the name Faustos numerous times because according to her, we weren't saying it right o_O), but for the most part I've had good teachers. xDD;;

I only had 13 in my graduating class. Getting into the top 10% was virtually impossible. :P

Yea, but it's double yours :P xD
o_O I'd get lost in that grade... Ew.
It's one of the reason I decided to attend the one I'm in instead of the larger ones around here.

@knerd
The large schools in our area were all around 350 per class. I couldn't even imagine being in HS and not knowing everyone in your class. Of the 13 in our class, 10 had been there since kindergarten. We were a tight group. :)

I think it's better to have a smaller class. At least you know who you're graduating with.

My school is huge too. I loved my last englihs teahcer. She was head of the english department and gave us food after the weekly lunch meeting. She gave us the leftover deserts.

I have no idea her name but she was also his niece. Or his aunt. I can't remember. But it was sketchy.
Oh yea, she was also, like, fourteen...
