:subscribes to thread: I'll try to keep up with this thread, but I fear I get caught up in the RL world most days thanks to work and the like haha. I still have to catch up with season six :sigh: Was hoping Netflix caught up on the instant watch... guess I can wait a little longer.

Season 6 isn't completed yet, so Netflix won't have it for quite some time.

You can buy the first part of the series on DVD though so you'd think the online people could make the same distinction. :/

Oh, you can? Well in that case, maybe Netflix will post the episodes sooner. I really had no clue they released half seasons.

I didn't realise myself until I saw it in a supermarket. With previous series they've realised DVDs with about three episodes at a time while it was still on TV and then the whole series at the end with lots of extras and stuff.

They had me at Rory punching Hitler. It was like Moffat and Tarantino had a little love baby and left it on my doorstep.

Bloody hell guys. I don't know if you've heard, but there's crazy rioting going on in London right now, has been escalating quickly since Saturday, I think today has been the worst. There are buildings burning all over the city, people (mostly kids) crashing windows in shops and looting like there's no tomorrow.. I was working tonight at a pub in Camden and we had to bolt the doors shut just before a mob came running down the street outside, then we had to get everyone out the back door and close up some hours early.. thankfully I got home safe, but heard just now that one of the more popular clubs there (the Electric Ballroom), which is really close to my pub, is burning. It's really scary. :/
Also, hello to all of the new people, always lovely to see new faces, though you'll have to excuse me for not being in the brightest of moods right now.. ^^;

TunaFishSalad: A couple of films; Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and TV wise (other than Doctor Who) mostly the second series of Sherlock but there's a few other things I want to check out. Then there's DVD releases if I have the money.
I've seen pictures from the riots, it's almost too much to take in. There's reports of violence in Birmingham and Wolverhampton too. Hope you and the people around you stay safe ljos.

Wolverhampton too? I heard about Birmingham, it's like a disease spreading all over the country.. this is really not the right way to go about things. :/
Tuna, there have been really drastic cuts in all sectors in the UK, and people are angry. It started out as a peaceful protest on Saturday because of police violence, but it's just escalated ridiculously quickly. Mostly it's really young kids - there's reports of a lot of kids between 10-14 running around, looting shops, throwing things at the police, which I don't feel like the police can really do much about.. some have been saying the police should get water cannons, plastic bullets, tear gas to hold the protesters back, but imagine how angry people would get if a young kid got seriously harmed.
There have been lots of fires too, mostly in shops and such, but also in residential buildings, so there've been quite a few people losing their homes. It's just really horrible. >.<
Thanks for the well wishes, mostly came online to see what people were saying on facebook, letting my friends know I'm safe.. should probably just try to go to sleep soon, but now I'm all tensed up because of this..

That sounds horrible.
And very, very sad.
The fact that its filled with young teenagers is the saddest part. It's so stupid, they probably don't even understand why there was protesting in the first place, they're just too young and immature to realize what they're doing is so terrible.

I agree, that's definitely not how you get things done... No one looks at an angry mob and thinks "Hey, these people seem intelligent, I bet their ideas are worth listening to and considering!" :/ You do yourself no favors by setting fires and stealing TVs. How primal.

Ah yes, I need to see more of the films for characters who are in The Avengers other than Iron Man.
Someone I follow on Tumblr is from Birmingham, she was reblogging posts from a blog reporting on the riots there and some of the posts mentioned Wolverhampton. They're mostly user submitted so I don't know if there are any facts to support it.
People are posting links to groups on Facebook to report as they're purportedly organising riots in other cities. Even if they claim it's a joke, this situation is no laughing matter.
