I squealed when I saw someone else liked Koori! I haven't read those for so long, but I still love all of those. My favorite part was the little Rapunzel side story. I was so happy at the end of it that I actually cried from happiness.

well the problem with yuri is that they tend to go into hentai more than yuri
it's a really fine line between those 2 XP

Lots of people like Koori and lots of people whine in pain when after 20 odd volumes there is still nothing XP
But its so full of bishies so we bear through them anyway XP

If you like Koori then you must have read silver diamond too?
Silver diamond have more gags than koori but then the actual battle have not started yet

But that is not to mean that Silver diamond don't have sad parts :>

Yeah, I know. It's like, what is sweet and yuri love turns into just a bunch of porn. Not that I complain too much, but... still... I like love.

I had no idea Koori was that long! I've only read the part that got translated a long time ago by some group online. My Japanese is not very good (at best), so I need to find at least a text version somewhere.

I've not read Silver Diamond, but I'll keep my eyes out for it! Thanks for the recommendation!

I really don't know a lot of Yuri at all, it doesn't get nearly the same publicity that Yaoi gets...

Yuri is a up and coming trend too XP
there is also soft yuri and hard yuri just like we have shounen-ai and yaoi

I forgot which yaoi manga had me ensnared and forever made me a yaoi fangirl. But yeah, I love/adore/worship/(insert synonyms here) yaoi.

I simply adore yaoi and shonen-ai.

My first BL manga would have to be........................ I have no idea. DX I would read fanfics, or look at pictures, and stuff like that. I watched the Loveless anime with some friends, and I read a little, tiny bit of Gravitation. Kinda bored me though.

Hmm. I read some of FAKE, which was cute. My cousin let me read a little bit of this one series, 'Les Bijoux' I think its called. She's the one who got me into Yaoi. :'D

I read some SasuNaru doujin, and I like a lot of Naruto bl pairings. Some of the slash ones make NO SENSE WHATSOEVER though, and it just makes me like, 'Urghasdfasdfjasldjflasjdflajd!' and wanna throw things. Slash doesn't usually work for me.

My favorite Naruto pairings, though, I'd have to say would be SasuNaru [They can alternate being Seme and Uke, lol], KakaIru, and SasoDei. :]

I saw a really weird fanfic that was ItaKaka. It confused the HELL outta me. DX

To an extent yes, although I'll admit I prefer slash to yaoi. The seme/uke thing in yaoi grates on my nerves like fingernails on a chalk board. :evil:

And as an aside, am I the only yaoi fan here who doesn't like Gravitation? I hate the main characters, and the only ones I really liked enough to watch were K and Tohma.

But what's sad is there are a lot of pairings I support and it's hard to find material for them. A lot has very small fandoms. :(

Oh gods, I hear you on the small fandoms. I've heard my main fandom (Petshop of Horrors) referred to as small, but compared to Bride of Deimos, Model, and Les Bijoux? Petshop fandom is big liek X-Box.

I'm actually not too big on the whole seme/uke thing, depending on how you're using the term. If you mean it as in another term for top/bottom, my objections do not apply. But when the terms are used to define the personalities of the characters it gets on my nerves.

This may or may not have something to do with the fact that I tend to prefer pairings where the more girly of the two is in charge. :lol:

My daughters and I are very open to each other. We don't keep secrets. They come to me with all sorts of issues, most especially gender issues. I talk to them about it in a very accepting way. If my daughter wants to watch and read yaoi, I let her. As long as I am there with them to discuss about matters that puzzle and confuse them, it's okay with me. So, at their tender age of 15, they do not discriminate. They accept all races, sex, religion.

Oh, yes. I do buy their manga's. Most of the time, they ask me for these as a price for doing good in school, which is always. :wink: Other times, when they really want something, but they know it's not within my budget at that particular time, they save up for it and buy it themselves...of course, with me around.
