OH. MY. BILLIE.
I absolutely LOVE this movie. I am part of a rocky HOrror shadowcast, and a friend of mine until recently was in the local Repo cast as well; however drama ensued and he left, but we are tryig to start our own Repo shadowcast to perform at a different theatre.

The first time I watched this movie, I was rather confused as to whether or not I liked it. But I kept finding myself singing the songs, and I had to watch it again. The second time, I was hooked and it's now one of my favorite movies. I dressed up as Shiloh and dragged my boyfriend to the shadowcast in October, where consequently, Darren Smith was there to do a Q&A. I got a picture with him :). My boyfriend swears he doesn't like the movie, but I catch him watching Zydrate Anatomy on YouTube every once in a while, and a couple of our private inside jokes are Repo references. For example, his mom is an RN and he works as a secretary at the hospital, so medical stuff comes up a lot in our conversations, and whenever one of us says "surgery", the other one always waits a beat and says "surgery" again. It never fails. xD
My favorite songs are probably Zydrate Anatomy, Let The Monster Rise and Didn't Know I'd Love You So Much.

I like the musical score and the individuality, but I have to say, the actual movie itself gets a little old.

Never watched Rocky Horror Picture Show (shame on me, I know :P), but I really liked Repo. It was so kitchy and gory, and grotesque, and beautiful. :3 My favorite characters are GraveRobber and Blind Mag. Shilo was getting on my nerves. She was pretty and all, but...I'd rather she'd be quiet. :P (which doesn't stop me from being a GraveRobberXShilo shipper XD)

I adore Rocky Horror Picture Show, so my friend recently introduced me to Repo.
& I loved it.
I think most of it was the songs, which I downloaded to my iPod immediately after watching. :]

I loved Repo it was such a different plot for a musical I found. It seemed like an orginal concept. At first I didn't really like the singing, but after watching it for a few times I've started to love it. I don't mind Paris Hilton in it either, I actually thought that she did a good job..though her role as a popular rich girl wasn't all that far from the truth. I liked it when her face fell off though.

I rented this movie the day it came out and positively fell in love with it!
Ironically, I discovered that I had an issue of Gorezone where this movie was the main attraction.
I think this movie is positively brilliant; it is my favourite movie of all time.
I love the music and I love the content.
And every time Alexa Vega (Shilo) swears, it's fun to yell at the screen: "BAD SPY KID."
:D

Oh my, Ive been hearing about this movie musical alot recently. I absolutly love Rocky Horror but i just watched the trailer for Repo and it looks kind of sinister and horrific. I usually like sinister movies but this one is just a bit too much.
To me it looks nothing like RHPS except for that its a musical. Oh well I may aswell get it out on DVD if i can find it, I may like it if I actually see it in proper.

It is pretty gory, but I like to think that the characters outshine the gore and guts.

I was actually incredibly disappointed with the movie. The songs just... weren't very fun. None of them were catchy, and just sort of awkward. When placed up against movies like Sweeney Todd and Across the Universe, musicals that I could listen to the songs outside of the movie, it just paled in comparison. Plus seeing Alexis Vega(?) in the bald cap made me sexually uncomfortable.

I will admit, for such a low budget film, they did amazingly well.

I was surprised it didn't do better, there was very little publicity for it.

I loved the movie , for reasons unknown to me. I thought the characters were very beautiful and I loved the set. Grave Robber was my favorite Character, I wish he was involved more in the movie though he did play an important but small part.

Repo! was, well... SIMPLY AMAZING. This was the best thing I have saw since Rocky Horror. Great gore, great story, kick ass songs, and great actors. I could have done without Paris Hilton, but I think her Coked Up Personality fit the characters whiny attitude!

I have all the tracks on my iPod.
I listen to Zydrate Anatomy all the time.
I've heard they may make either a sequel or prequel.
I hope they do!

They are making a sequel. It's coming out in 2011 at the end of the year maybe 2012. I think. If production go well of it. I don't think it will hit theatres, but then again if sales go up in 2011 it might. I'm an avid fan of Repo! I have copies of all their outfits that they wear in the movie. I even have some of the posters that were released. xD

I LOVEEEE Repo!Up near where I live these actors do a shadowcast of Repo, much like Rocky Horror. They call themselves the RKO Army, and they are amazingg at what they do.

I would really love to have a sequel and a prequel, do you know for sure if it's really true? Is there anything online about it? I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know.

Also, I would like to point out that there was SO much evidence pointing to possible GraverobberXShilo. They would such a cute couple in a really weird way, don't ya think?

A friend of mine brought Repo! to our movie night a few months ago. I haven't been able to get the soundtrack out of my head since then. Haha.

Some of said friend's acquaintances (from the local goth-punk scene, if that tells you anything about these kids) are trying to get together a group to do a shadowcast. I think it'll be interesting if/when they get it going.

@ kid disaster - damn.
i wanna shadowcast. never heard of that till now.
thanks for sharing.
my group of homies know the entire soundtrack and script so it shouldn't be a problem to put a cast together.
hmmm you have me contemplating this.

I really only saw Repo to see Ogre (Pavi Largo). Lead in my favorite band and all, eheh. I ended up liking it a lot. I just have on big complaint: they should have added more humor to it. I felt at times it took itself much more seriously than it should have. In interviews with everyone involved in the film, everyone's got a great sense of humor about it, but for some reason the film itself ended up seeming much too serious.

It wasn't really the film that was serious, moreso the plot and some of the characters [Rotti and Nathan]. Although I couldn't stop laughing during "It's A Thankless Job", that was hilarious. And OMG JOAN JETT <3 Just one reason to love "Seventeen"

I have yet to see this entire movie but I really want to do so. From what I have seen so far it intrigues me. Not to mention that the singing is amazing and grabs at my soul, giving it a good sound tug. My best friend likes it so much he even had a line from Chase the Morning tattooed upon his back. So I know I need to see this movie all the way through. lol^_^

I saw the movie displayed at my work, but I didn't decide to check it out until my little sister saw it at a friend's place. After that I bought it and just loved it! My favorite characters are Graverobber, Pavi, and Blind Mag. I wish they would bring out some official posters or something!

I'm very curious to see how the 2nd movie is going to be like..

Also, I still can't believe the people who made Repo Men are getting away with that c**p! What the duck people? Can't anyone have an original idea now-a-days?
And just in case anyone would start an arguement on how Repo Men didn't copy, I'm just going to send them here:

~I've seen Repo! last year on a friend's computer and I like it. I'm not much for gore or horror films but this one wasn't so bad. I like the concept and the characters. The music was ok, I didn't hate it I just didn't find a song I like to sing all day long too....lol I don't thinks this new Repo Men movie is going to be good. It's takes away from the original story line. The only thing they keep same in the movie is that there are people that take back you organs if you don't pay on time for them. :/
