I've never texted before, because I've never had a cell phone that worked, let alone texted. D:

when i first received my phone i texted like crazy much with people as much as possible, because i was addicted. now after almost 2 years i rarely text now. nobody really texts me haha.

I love texting. It's how I keep in touch with people when I'm away from my computer, and even when I'm at my computer, I still text because some people don't IM. All of my best friends are out of state, and the closest of them is just an hour away, the farthest (my #1 bestie) is 9 hours away.

Since I work and go to school, which means I'm gone 4/7 days a week, it's so much easier for me to just text or IM. In fact, I'm talking to my BFF on IM right now. It just seems so much easier for me to be able to pick up the phone and text instead of making a call.

Also, when you're at the grocery store, isn't it just easier to send a text of "Do we need orange juice" rather than making a whole phone call and all that jazz? Seriously. :3

I don't usually text, but if I do, it's not very much anyway.
My friends text SO much though. It's crazy! One of my friends says she texts 600 times a day!
I'd like to have unlimited texting so I could actually talk to my friends since that's all they do. :roll: I still don't think I'd text as much as them because I always forget to turn my phone on after school. xD

I rarely have my phone on me.
Though I can text I don't enjoy it.
I prefer talking in person.

I don't text because I don't have a cell phone, and don't want one. For some strange reason they just...bother me. I kind of feel the only time I need to talk to someone when I'm not with them is to make plans, and the can just call my house phone for that. If I'm not home, well then I'm clearly already out doing something and I'm not available to hang out anyway.

But most of my good friends know that if they are in desperate need of me for whatever reason and I'm not home they can just call my boyfriend and I'll either be with him or know where to find me.

Yes. I perfer talking in real tho because you get the full human emotions. Not just stupid smile emoticons. :sarcasm: But yes i do to be blunt.

I used to text everyday, about 200 texts. I don't text that much anymore though. I've been busy with school. So yeah. :|

yes i text, and because i can text, then i must have a cell, right? ^^;
if i cant text a friend, then i usualy just send them an email ^^; and i text ALL THE TIME. sometimes up to 500 a day

I have a cellphone. And I text because I'm always in class or my friends are. I don't mind talking on the cell, because I think you can describe situations better.

:) I text every day and every night. I text so much that i dont mind paying an 80$ bill each month (25$ is for unlimited text and voice mail and caller id). In i know i text too much, i remember when i got my firdt cell phone it was a Pay and Talk one, and i could see online how meny total texts i sent in a week month or 3 months. Last time i cheaked it was 10,000 in one month. Hahahaa :) But of cource i no longer own a normal little cellphone, ive upgraded to a smartphone :) and i think everyone else should too.

I don't even have a cellphone right now, so that would be a definate No. Honestly I hate phones to begin with, so only keep a cell for emergancies. Which reminds me, I have to get one. ^^

Yes. Sometimes I hold entire conversations on my phone, and only realize at the end that it would have been easier to just call the person. But I'm trying to cut down.

Though even if I did, I'd have nobody to text. I might make a friend at school or something occasionally, but I lose friends fast due to a lack of interest on my part (it's not like I care for going out and doing any of the boring stuff here in my little city). It's probably my ADD. /shrug

You kidding? I still can't even text as fast as my oldest sister...and she's like eleven years older than me. Pretty sad, isn't it?

I used to text ridiculous amounts when my boyfriend and I lived away from one another. Now we live together though, I don't text quite as much - maybe my mother or my sister occasionally, but that is about it xD

I don't since it cost for me to both recive and send and I can't really afford to watse my minutes, and with honesty I can't stand it since I see it as easier to just call the person and tell them that same exact thing

I have a cellphone but I don't text since the main reason my folks gave me my phone is for emergency purposes.

I generally do not text. In fact, the only person who ever texts me is my brother.

I do have a cell phone, and its plan is shared with another person (two lines).

When talking to someone, I prefer voice calls, emails, and chats, depending on the easiest way to reach them.

yea i text alot!!! i find it way more practical because i have this thing about talking to people on the phone. i dont really like to talk to anyone over the phone other than my mother, brother, aunt, and best friend. anyone other than that needs to text me. also im not real big on the whole... "i just called to talk" thing. texting is like...
