"Alright." Seth said. He searched in his pockets. He knew he had some money. Just couldn't remember which pocket he put it in. He found it in his back pocket. And it wasn't really a lot anyway.

"Oh. It's okay, I can pay for it." Echo said reaching for his wallet. It was a good thing he saved his money each time he landed on the mortal world.

After a few minutes, there was a ring. "Oh I guess the pizza is here" he said as he hopped off the bed and towards the door.

"Delivery!" said the old man that was behind the lobby desk
"Here's the money." Echo handed the old man the money
"Thanks! I'll give it to the guy" The old man peeked inside the room, "How you guys holding up in here?" he said with a wink.

Echo chuckled and grabbed the pizza box from the old man, "Off you go now" he said as he made a gesture with one hand then faced Seth.

"Here is the pizza!" He exclaimed and laid the box on the table nearby.

"You didn't have to pay.. I have money." Seth said. He stood up and went over to the table. He opened the box. He grabbed a piece, but almost dropped it. 'Hot!' he thought, but the thought didn't show on his face. He took a small bite from the piece, not wanting to burn his tongue.

Echo also took out a slice of piece. He could feel the heat but it wasn't like it hurt or anything. "Mmm!" he exclaimed. Mortals sure do have great food!

"This pizza is delicious" he spoke as he took another bite.

"Yes. It is." Seth said, taking another bite. "But how could you eat it right away when its this hot?" he asked. Though he knew that there was something demonic about this man.

"Um, you can say I'm accustomed to the heat. I'm into Pyromancy" he shrugged. It was true, he just happened to left out that he was a demon.

"Ok...If you say so." Seth said. "What is it you're trying to hide?" he asked.

Echo looked at Seth as he grabbed another slice of pizza, "Nothing." he responded. It was obviously not true but what could have said? That he was a demon, a minion of the devil himself? It's highly unlikely that Seth would have taken him seriously and plus if the higher ups had discovered that not only did Echo sneak into the mortal world but he actually told a mortal, without killing them.

"Don't lie to me. I know your not human." Seth said. He was going to get the man to admit it. Being an angel, he isn't supposed to associate himself with demons. In any way. He could be in so much trouble just for speaking to him.

Echo remained speechless. What IS this human? Can he really see that I am actually a demon. Tch...No matter.

The demon looked at Seth again, "What makes you say that?" he asked as he finished the slice of pizza in his hands. Was it possible that Seth had heard his mantra? But no mortal can hear that. Unless he is a demon as well, but I know all of my kind..or perhaps.. he is an angel. He chuckled quietly to himself then examined the boy.

Seth remained silent as he finished eating his slice of pizza. "I can tell. You have a dark aura around you. I can sense it." he said. "So don't try to hide it." he added.

Echo rose an eyebrow, "Really? Now.." he leaned in closer to Seth, "And how on earth could you sense 'dark auras'?" he scoffed out. He needed to make sure his identity wouldn't be revealed.

Seth leaned away from him. "Because. That's just the way I am." he said. He wasn't just going to say that he was an angel. That wouldn't be a good idea.

He narrowed his eyes upon examining him, "Well, perhaps I do have a dark aura." he shrugged, "But people are born with darkness and light. Perhaps an event that happened to me allowed the darkness to envelope my heart. Which doesn't necessarily mean I'm not human because I am." Part of this was true, not the human part though.

"And exactly what event was that?" Seth asked. He was going to get Echo to admit that he was a demon. One way or another. Though he didn't really see why it concerns him.

"I'm not sure. That's why I'm here." he responded quite bluntly before grabbing another slice of pizza, "There's one more piece left, you can eat."

Seth took the last piece and ate it. He was sorta confused about what that meant though.

Echo sighed as he leaned back in his chair. The sun was still beaming through the curtains making him wince at the light. "So tell me, where is this far away place that you come from?"
