Hey, I was wondering if perhaps you might be interested in this plot I came up with.

I know that when you smile,
It will only be just a short little while,
Shoot me down.
In flames.

This is a plot is based upon a
song by the talented Nick Cave. This is a roleplay based around the idea that to be able to love is detrimental to yourself - unrequited love. My plot revolves around the idea of a homosexual character falling in love with a heterosexual character. I am really interested in the idea of the homosexual character being the heterosexual character's psychologist, so that they hear and listen to the innermost thoughts of the heterosexual character as well as listening to the heterosexual character's failed romantic endeavours. Gradually over time the homosexual character realises that they are falling in love with their patient and are in conflict about whether they can continue to hide their emotions beneath their professional conduct. Eventually the heterosexual character confesses their own depression to the point where their failed romances has left them hindered confidence, where the homosexual character can't contain their own affection any longer. It would be interesting if at this point, the heterosexual character decided to question their own sexuality and if they could develop a romantic relationship together - only for the homosexual character to know with their background of psychology that this change of heart/sexuality will be short-lived, with the heterosexual character's vulnerability forcing them into a relationship which they never would have gotten involved in had they been of sound mind.
This roleplay really is about challenging the ideas of a persons morals (Can they justify staying in a relationship with someone who doesn't love them the same way?), as well as exploring the nature of the heartbroken person (Will they settle for whatever love they can get?) It also deals with exploring the pain that love can bring us, and how fragile we are as emotional beings.
The homosexual and heterosexual would preferably be both male, however female can work just as well.
I would like to play the role of the homosexual myself, and would be asking you to play the heterosexual.
Dunno what else to say, just thought this kinda thing might be up your street. :)
Either way let me know. :)
