Ruby took Raito's pack almost on auto-pilot and slung it over one shoulder. "What are you doing?" she asked, her eyes traveling down to look at his bloodied bandages. It looked like he had sustained more then just a few scratches. She drew the kitchen knife out and held it out to him. "At least take this so you can kind of protect yourself."

Belle cursed heavily in French and kicked at the back of scarf girls knees. She looked at her upper arm when a stinging pain flared up for a moment. She looked at the one with the stake and grinned. Tilting her head to the side Belle let her tongue flick out and catch a drop of blood before it rolled down her arm, her eyes flashing red at the taste. "Not bad, ma petite. In another life you could have made this worth my while." Her eyes traveled up the ally and she growled low in her throat at the sight of the werewolves. These humans are mine to kill, she thought as she dodged around both of the girls to rush the first werewolf.

In a split second Tawny was turned and grabbing Aruna. She clamped her hand hard on the other girls bicep and pulled her away from the mouth of the alley and the dangerous creatures there. "Come on Aruna." She said, her voice deadly calm even under the circumstances. "We need to go. Now."

Aruna hissed under her breath when the vampire kicked her. She looked down the ally and spotted a few werewolves looking at them hungrily. While the vampire stalked off to rush the first one off, Aruna felt Tawny grab her arm roughly and say they had to go. "Well I tried to tell you people this earlier. But no, no one listens to the girl with common sense." She said under her breath, pulling her arm out of Tawny's grip.

"Well then let's go all high and mighty." Tawny retorted sarcastically. Her eyes were on the vampire and the scuffle she was having with the group of werewolves. "Stop being indignant and stand up." She commanded. It was her nature to take control in situations like this one.

Aruna glared up at Tawny from her kneeling position. She stood up quickly and walked over to where Ruby and Raito stood. "Please put your hoodie back on.I don't want you to catch a cold." She told Raito gently, glancing down at his bandages. She checked behind her shoulder to make sure that the vampire was still busy with the werewolves and quickly rushed her two friend out of the ally.

Ruby readjusted Raito's backpack so it sat on both of her shoulders and turned around to hurry up the ally with the others in tow. She could here the snarling and growling coming from the Vampire and Werewolves and hoped they would all tear each other to pieces. "Do you think they'll call kill each other?" she asked the other, glancing over her shoulder for a moment. The Vamp had already killed one of the creatures, her arm glistening with blood. Oh god, I'm going to be sick, she though and quickly faced the other way again.

Belle had taken the very first Werewolf out already, having plunged her hand into his chest to remove his heart. With their comrade down the others were being more cautious, practically dancing around her. "Filthy mutts, the humans are mine!" Belle shrieked, jumping over the head of one of them, giving it a sharp twist as she did so. His body jerked once and sank to its knees. She skitted out into the street, and looked back into the ally; the humans were gone. She cursed and looked at either side, where more and more Werewolves were starting to gather. Kicking the closest one in the head, Belle ran at a building and jumped onto it's roof to get away from the pack. She ran along the rooftops, keeping an eye out for the humans but couldn't see anything. After a short roundabout way she crouched on the roof of a house closest to the ally and sniffed. The faint trace of human blood was still there, leading to the right. She grinned and followed the scent. She had nothing else to do after all.

Raito shrugged lightly, picking his hoodie back up and slipping it over his head while walking, "I doubt it." He pulled his sleeves back over his arms and then glanced around, cursing lightly under his breath, "Maybe a few casualties on the werewolves side...the vampire will know when she's outnumbered and leave..." He stopped walking suddenly, "You three go ahead, I'm going to go in another direction, with me like this I'm only making it easier for that vampire to track us." The wind ruffled his hair and he closed his eye, the wind was against them, throwing the scent of his blood back towards the vampire, "I'll meet up with you guys later, in the usual spot."

Sirius walked out of the shadows and saw Raito talking about going in a different direction. He rolled his eyes and spoke harshly, "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard you say, Raito. Really, you're gonna go off alone like you usually do? Nope, not on my watch, you aren't." He reached out for the sleeve of the hoodie and attempted to drag him with the others. He dug in the center pocket of his hoodie and tossed him some Neosporin ointment for Raito's cut, "Take that and rub it on the wound, it might be able to cover the scent and don't struggle that's just going to make things easier for the she-bat to find us."

Raito rolled his one visible eye and pulled his arm out of Sirius' grasp, "It doesn't work." He replied and threw the Neosporin back. "Not on my wounds." He didn't want to explain how he got them in the first place, that would make things...difficult. "Why don't you just go with the girls? I can take care of myself just fine. I did before."

Sirius wasn't about to fight Raito on the matter because there wasn't much time left. He said indifferently, "Okay, fine by me if you want to throw your life away. I'll stay with the girls then." He walked in front of the girls and motioned for them to follow him. Sirius didn't look back at Raito, partly because he was trying to be heroic and also he was upset that he would do something like this. He threw his hand into the air and called out nonchalantly, "If you make it back, lock the door behind you so they don't feed on us."

((lol you typed so they feed on us...don't you mean so they don't feed on us?))

Tawny said nothing else. She did however follow silently behind Raito. Aruna could be indignant but she would be the most likely to keep the others safe. Anyway, Sirius was with them now too. It would be best if Raito wasn't completely alone.

"I'm not stupid enough to leave the door open." Raito replied and then walked off in the opposite direction, randomly placing his hand on a tree or swiping his sleeves on ferns, anything to keep the vampire following him and away from the others. His silent footfalls brought up slight clouds of dust with each step. His eyes went to the side and he caught a glimpse of Tawny following him, "What are you doing?" He questioned softly.

Belle stopped walking and sniffed the air. The trail had suddenly changed direction and she wasn't sure if she liked it. One of those damned mutts had better not taken off with my human, she thought and jumped from the roof to follow the smell of blood better. A stray cat darted passed her and she jumped on it to have something to snack; it wouldn't do for her to become light headed in the middle of fighting with the stubborn humans. She walked passed a tree and salivated at the strong smell of blood that drifted away from the trunk. She touched her finger lightly against the red stain and licked it off, moaning at the taste. "You're making this too easy for me, mon chéri," she muttered under her breath with a feral grin and continued to walk.

Sirius swatted Raito's response away without another thought and began to lead the way back to the catacombs, when he stopped in front of an open manhole. He turned to Aruna and Ruby, saying unnervingly, "Um ... so who wants to go in first? You guys are always telling me to get some manners, well ladies first." He turned his nose up at the stench coming from the hole in the ground. "Dude this is rank, why did this have to be one of the ways in?" His voice was nasally from pinching them together to avoid the stink.

Ruby rolled her eyes but smiled at the way Sirius was acting. "I'll go first," she announced, hooking her fingers into the holes on the lib to pull it aside. She wrinkled her nose and flinched back as the foul smell wafted up at them. Her foot found the first rung of the ladder and she made quick work of climbing down to stand on the ledge of the sewer. "Alright, come down," she shouted back up, covering her mouth and nose quickly with her hand to avoid gagging at the smell. We have to find a different entrance, she thought.

Adrien jumped from building to building in search for food. He had only found two rats and one cat in the past week and he was beginning to think that feeding on a werewolf would be better than searching for hours on end. As he jumped to the next building, he spotted something moving in one of the small alleys between them. He put one hand on the side of the crumbling structure and jumped down, landing just above the small rat he had noticed. Adrien sighed, figuring that this would be him only meal for the next few days and savored the feeling of it's hot blood running down his throat. Of course, it was not as good as human blood. But he had gotten use to the taste after a while.

Once he wiped his mouth and gently lay the limp body on the ground, he left the ally and began climbing onto the old market place that all the humans use to go to because of the good prices. Once on top of the poorly constructed store, he scanned the area, catching the smell of another vampire nearby. He quietly walked to the other end of the roof, being careful of the gaping holes in it, and peered out into the distance. He caught a glimpse of someone wiping blood on a few trees and plants with a girl following after him. Adrien was sure that he had never seen them before, and when he took a deep breath, he felt his mouth water. They were humans, and he was starving. He waited a bit, figuring that vampire was already hunting them, and sure enough, a female vampire followed after them, sniffing the branches the bay had just wiped his blood on.

Adrien smiled to himself. She seemed like she could share. And if she couldn't than he would just have to kill her. He jumped down from the old building and after a few minutes of walking, discovered the trees with drops of blood on them. He grinned and followed the bloody trees, soon coming upon another hungry looking vampire. "Well, hello there." He smiled.

Aruna grimaced at the foul smell and watched Ruby wiggle into the opening. She looked over at Sirius. "You can go before me. I really don't care about manners at the moment." She said, covering her nose with the sleeve of her coat.

Belle sniffed the air when the scent of another of her kind drifted towards her. She turned around and hissed at him before she could stop herself. It was a habit thing, she told herself, straightening out of crouch. She nodded a greeting and ran a hand through her hair. "I'm surprised to find another of us around this part. Most avoid it with the werewolves about. I will assume that you are here for the humans?" She hated the thought of having to share the delectable blood with anyone, but something told her that it would be easier if they hunted together...even if it was just for the time being. She could always kill him later if the need arose.

Adrien nodded. "Yes, most of us do. But I was getting very thirsty and while I was hunting, I smelt the humans you've been hunting and would like to know if, by any chance, we could share the two? I haven't eaten anything bigger then a cat for at least three weeks and I'm afraid that I have considered feeding on one of those mutts." He grimaced at the idea and looked down. He noticed his jacket had a few bits of dust on it and he wiped them off. Adrien looked back up at the woman and smiled. "I suppose you wouldn't let me hunt with you if you don't even know my name." He bowed slightly, reminding him self that it was the twenty-first century and that most people didn't do that anymore, and introduced himself. "My name is Adrian Marcell."

"I am Belle Noir," she said and curtsied on reflex. She knew it was a strange thing to do in this day and age but she didn't care. Manners were important to her. She wiggled her nose in thought and finally heaved a sigh and nodded. "You may join me in the hunt. But be warned, try to take them both from me and I'll have you head on a silver platter." She turned around without waiting for him and began walking again, turning the corner where the human had marked the wall of a building. "And why would you even consider feeding on one of those disgusting mutts? I would rather die then stoop that low," she said over her shoulder at Adrian.

Adrien raised an eyebrow. "Well you're just a wonderful woman to be around." He muttered, hoping she didn't hear him. "I'm not sure why I would stoop that low. But I think that if I was about to die because I haven't eaten, I would feed on a werewolf. I bet they wouldn't be that bad. A dog probably tastes the same." He trailed off, lost in his own thoughts. After a few minutes of finding blood stains and following them to the next one, he began asking questions. "So when were you changed? And how old were you when you were changed? No! Let me guess. Um, you look like you're about 390? And you were 20 when you were changed." He said, grinning. He supposed this was one way to get her talking and it was quite boring walking around in silence.

Belle turned her head slowly to regard the other vampire. What the hell? "You're just full of questions, aren't you?" she asked and turned back to look at the road, it wouldn't do for her to stumble suddenly. "I'm 423 thank you very much," she said and nodded. "But you would be correct on the age of my turning. What about you? You seem rather old yourself."
