"Coffee is fine, could i be left alone for a but please?" Alex asked

{Lol. NEW PERSON ALERT. He just came in and Harlie was talking to him and Cossie and Alex wanted to know what happened.}

"Oh, yeah sorry." Cosse turned and walked away leaning on the counter of the bar.

Delilah stood from her chair and slowly walked out of the room. Her green eyes looked for Harlie and Cosse. Once she found them she put a smile on her pink lips and walked over. "There you are! i must have fallen asleep in the office" she shrugged innocently, "I havent been getting much sleep" she peeked over at who the girls were talking to but turned her eyes back to her workers. "How has everything been going?" she asked Harlie her melodic voice laced with hidden anxiety.

Alex watched as a woman walked out he drank from his coffee and thought well she isn't to bad looking then he pictured the soccer player, DAMN IT tears started to roll down his face again, he glared at his coffee

Delilah looked at the man who was glaring at his coffee, "What did the coffee do to make you give it such a look" she asked tipping her head a few of her pale blonde ringlet curls falling over her shoulder. She saw his tears, "are you alright?" she asked him with concern. I knew this would happen! since i took over people are going to stop finding love! she thought angrily. She turned back to the man and put a pale and on his shoulder, "Sir?" she asked again.

"I just broke up with my girlfriend, thats about it" said Alex not looking up

He doesnt seem to want to talk to meshe thought with a shake of her head.Delilah sighed, "Thats always hard" she said softly. She took another look around the Cafe, most seemed happy. She turned back to the boy, "Dont worry ive had plenty of heartbreak, but only one that left me truly crushed" she said sadly thinking of her first real love, she shook the memory away angrily.

"I think i can top you" said Alex still not looking up

Delilah moved to a chair next to him, "Try me" she told him.

"Did they break up with you because you had a few dreams about the same gender?" said Alex "why does it have to be me, i am nto gay not that there is anything wrong with that"

Delilah sighed, "some people just arent comfortable with people who are different" she twirled a curl around her finger, "There was a guy who broke up with me because he didnt like my hair color, another didnt like my eye color" she sighed and rested her cheek on her hand, "Some people are just cruel"

"I will take that as a point for me" said Alex not looking at anything just not focusing but keeping his eyes open

Before Dalihla went off she told Harlie had told her tha everything was fine with the cafe and that she hoped she had a good nap and laughed.

She watched as Dalihla went over to talk to the boy with his coffee then looked at Cosse "he must have been hit hard by that break up" an old memory of her last boyfriends came to mind but she quickly blocked it out she was not ready to confront something like that.

"Yeah, he was...I think he really liked her." Cosse wasn't really sure what the feeling was she hadn't ever had a horrable break-up. Well she had only had one boyfriend to begin with and they never even kissed. Of corse they were still best friends so it wasn't nearly as dramatic as Alex's had been. "How does it feel to break-up with someone you really like?"

Alex looked at his coffee and saw he was almost done he took the last sip and set the cup off to the side, resting his head down on the table he just sat there not moving

Harlie frowned "not good at all in fact it really does suck" she put her head down "I dont think I can talk about my last one".

Balthazar finished his tea looking up from the table, slowly he slid his headphones off his ears. turning off his music he stood, walking over to harley and cosse " Hi how are you? sry about barging in .... was having a slight family dispute." he said vaguely.

Alex, shifted his wight around so he was more comfertable and he let the tears come down

Harlie siled "its okay feel free to hang around here if you ever have another fight or you just need to hang about" she wanted to ask more about the man but she didnt want to be some odd woman who asked blunt questions.

Alex got up and walked over to the small group "where is the restrooms?" he asked

"oh they are right over there" she pointed to the restrooms "sometimes they are hard to find maybe we should paint them another color than the rest of the wall".

Alex forced his best smile and made his way to the bathroom, when he came out he went back to the group "My name is Alex by the way" he held out his hand

Harlie shook his hand "nice to meet you Alex my name is Harlie" she hoped that he wouldnt look at her funny the last few people to find out her name seemed to think she was liyinh or they called her Charlie and it bugged her to no end.

"That is a nice name" said Alex lookign around at the other two

Harlie smiled 'thank you most people think its a little to odd though I dont think its not that odd" she had grown up with kids with some other strange or uniqe names it was just how her street worked back when she went to school.
