Invidia quirked an eyebrow as Momiji pulled Inuyami from the store. She shook her head, sometimes almost wishing she had that kid's energy. She wrapped her hand gently around Yuki and pulled her from her pocket, placing her back down on the ground. "You know, you should actually be glad I have more control over myself than most cats do." A mishievious grin spread across her lips, showing off two sharp, slightly longer canines.

"It's alright, in Okinawa we had a lot more room and land. Our house was bigger and we had everything we could ever want, but after my mother died, father didn't have the money to pay for that big house in the rich town so we moved here. It's nice to be out of there though because of the memories. No one here knows my secrets so that's a plus." She smiled slightly as she staired off into space.

Yuki stared up at her for a second before changing back. The bottom of her shirt flapped in the wind from the poof. "You would never do that to me" Yuki said looking at her cousin frowning.


"Except Akito, the other Sohma members, and the other Superiors" Momiji pointed out. He smiled lightly at her.

With a momentary pause she pondered if he was refuring to the secret of her curse or to the secret she had hidden under the cotton green hat atop her head. Her large eyes blinked twice as she stared at him in questioning. She didn't think that most the Superior knew about her ears but she didn't think any of the Sohma's knew about them.

Momiji looked at her. "Whats wrong?" Momiji asked totally cluless. His blond hair flopped around in the wind.

Invidia chuckled softly and shook her head. "Most likely no, I wouldn't." She raised her arms and stretched, a very large yawn stretching her mouth open. When she finally stopped, her arms falling to her sides again, she sighed and looked around the shop, wishing there was a clock in the front of the store. Too lazy to check the back room, she turned to her cousin. "Hey, do you know what time it is?"

"Oh..." A blush covered her face as she came back from her thoughts. "I'm sorry." Her gaze fell to the floor and the meekly back up to meet the crystal blue eyes of her sunshine haired cousin. "You were refering to the curse right?"

Yuki looked at the watch she had drawn onto her wrist with a pen sometime in the day. It was fading away though. The short hand was pointing to 12 and the minute hand was on the 6. "Umm 12:30" Yuki answered laughing. It was probably somwhere around 6. She smiled at her cousin.

"Ja...What else would I be talking about ?" Momiji asked. He looked at her face quietly.

Invidia wrinkled her nose and pushed herself off the counter, heading to the door a few feet away from them. She pushed it open and peeked her head inside, glancing at the clock on the wall next to the door. She nodded to herself and went back to her spot on the counter. "I have to close up, if you want to wait until I'm done, I could walk you home." She went about her closing routine, making sure all the animals had enough food and water for the night.

"Oh uhm," she paused for a moment then lifted her hand to her hat. "Promise not to laugh or make fun of me?"

Momiji looked at her and smiled. "Cross my heart" Momiji promised.

"Ok" Yuki said smiling. She waited patiently by the door while Invidia checked the animals.

Slowly she removed her hat, and two pointed white ears lifted from where they had been laid down flat to her head.

"It's an uncommon side affect of the curse." Her cheeks went rosy red again.

Invidia finally made sure everything was locked properly before turning off all the lights. She grabbed up her backpack from behind the counter, swung it over one shoulder and joined Yuki at the door. "All ready." She gave a slight smile and opened the door for her cousin.

Kyo Sohma was busy sleeping in a tree, his new place to get away from all the assholes around. One arm drapped over the side of a branch, and the other underneath him, he snored softly as he dreamt of fish and creme. From afar, you could even hear a soft purr.
Yuki Sohma, the damn rat, was away with the dog, so Kyo had the house to himself... well kind of... that was an understatement.
Suddenly there was a heavy thump on his head, and he yowled as he fell from the tree and on his butt.
"Dammit! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ALL A...bout...?" Rubbing the back of his pants, gritting his teeth, the Zodiac boy looked to see a cat knocked out on the ground. His eyes widened and he picked it up right away. "Gah!!!" he shouted. "Where'd you come from! Hey! Little guy! Wake up?! Oh, so you're gonna ignore me is that it?!" Kyo's confusion turned to anger, as it normally did, but once he saw the cat not responding at all, he ran into the house.

Momji stared at her for a few seconds. "Well the Superiors did always act differently around you like they were trying to be careful...cept Yuki...but who cares you're still cute" Momiji told her smiling.

"Cool" Yuki said leading the way. She walked to the house she was living at. <(Shigure's house)>"You can come in if you want" Yuki said turning and looking at her when they got to the door.

Invidia nodded and followed Yuki inside the house, wondering who all would be home. She slipped her book bag off her shoulder and let it fall to the ground next to the door, slipping her shoes off next to it. "It's been a while since I've been here," she muttered, mostly to herself as she looked around.

Blinking for a moment as what Momiji had said set into her mind, Inuyami's face went redder then she knew it could. She'd never been called 'cute' before, especially by someone who knew her little secret, but it was nice to recive the complement.

"D...domo, arigato." She stuttered to thank him ass he fidgetted with the lime green fabric of the hat she had folded in her lap. Small fang like teeth began to dig into her bottem lip as she anxiously tried to keep her composure. "Tea..." she suddenly said standing up from where she had been knelt.

Handing Chibi Kyo to Momiji she scuffled off into the temple like home and collected a sakura (cherry blossem) designed tea set and began to boil water ontop of the stove. Within a few minutes the water had come to it's boiling point and was pored into the white and pink china tea set. Wicker tray in hand, Inuyami returned to the porch, setting the tea and cookies on a small kneeling table between the two of them.




Across town, the wistle of a train blew loudly in the air. It's bellows echoed off the station walls and rose above the roof tops, letting the occupants of the surounding area know that the train had arrived. The breaks hissed and spat as the hydrolics of the hot breaks cooled in their stopped possition. Doors clicked as automatic locks released by command of the conductor in the engine car of the huge metal bullet of transportation system.

Out of the second to last cart only one person has emerged. The seats in the box car had been ripped from the bolts on the floor which held them down and thrown across the ten by fifty box. Windows where smashed from the inside out and the drappes had been ripped off their rods. Stains of coffee and juicy drinks where fresh on the floor and the carpet was ripped near where each seat had been bolted down.

The man walked cassually off the car and popped the white fured collar of his stiff, long, black leather jacket and pulled it up to his sun-glass accesorised ears. Men, women, girls and boys all staired as this white and black haired male strided threw the staition.

"Oh my," squeeked a teen aged girl to her friends as they all stopped what they were doing to watch him, "he's just dreamy!" They seemed to coo over him in unison but weather or not he had heard them, he didn't acknowledge them and kept walking. His grey eyes scanned the windows leading to the streat outside, but it wasn't obvious what or, perhaps, who he was looking for yet still he searched.

A commotion began to grow behind him as the man checking the box cars for sleeping customers or left behind items came upon the second to last cart. It had been more then obvious that all hell had been let loose inside of it but what had happened? Who had done it? A small smirk crawled across the slender face of the man as he pushed the large glass door of the station open.

At the bottem of a flight of granite stairs a seemingly ownerless peddle bike was set beside the railing unattended. Without care or concern a black cotton clad leg extended and the man sat on the hot black plastic seat of the blue mountain bike and peddled off. Hatsuharu Sohma had arived and was headed to visit his family in the residence of Shigure Sohma.

Kyo almost ran into Yuki, the new girl staying at Shigure's house. He came to a screeching halt, and stopped inches before he bumped into her. He didn't really like Yuki. Not because he thought she was a bad person or anything, but she had his enemy's namesake. He always tried to avoid her, but now with the limp cat in his arms, and not knowing what to do, Kyo handed her it in a hurry.
"I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO DO!! FIX IT!! DO SOMETHING! I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH IT!!" He gripped his orange hair with such fuss that some actually 'shedded' off. He suddenly noticed the girl behind Yuki, but decided to ignore her and he was on the edge of slapping himself from worry.

It didn't take long for Haru to bike to Shigure's home. The train station wasn't more then five miles from his home so it didn't take long for the athletic 'biker-boy' to peddle his way to the house. He set the bike beside the tree that Kyo had been sleeping in and headed for the door. He gave a few stiff knocks on the door and waited for a responce.

Kyo's ears popped out of his skull as he heard a knock at the door. He darted to it, and flung open the door to see Haru standing there.
Without a look of surprise, Kyo's face turned red and he shouted. "WHAT DO YOU WANT!?!" He looked over his shoulder, histeric about the cat that was still unmoving in Yuki's arms.

Without words, Haru simply delivered a punch, point blank, into Kyo's face and walked past him into the house. He didn't seem to notice Yuki or Invidia as he sat down on the couch in the living room. With a blank expression and still saying nothing he just sat their and staired at the wall.

Kyo flew down onto the ground, and a firey aura seemed to swirl all around him. He got up and then darted toward the ox of the Zodiac and flung his fist straight into the guy's back, sending him flying forwards. "What was that for you lewd cow?!" He gritted his teeth and stood in a fighting stance. "What are you doing here?"

Standing up slowly, Hatsuharu shifted his head from the left then from the right, cracking his neck. He flexed his fingers, each knuckle popping as the mucles strained into tight fists. Turning around, with one lense broken from his glasses, a devilish smile crept across his face.
"STUPID CAT!" He yelled at the top of his lungs and he flung the broken black sun-glasses at his carrot topped cousin, hitting him in the chest with little to no force. "Don't mess with someone when you don't know what mood their in!" Taking the chance that presented itself after the plastic eye wear had hit Kyo, Haru jumped on the couch, then over it and delivered a downward kick to Kyo's chest.

Kyo huffed as Haru kicked him, and sent him flying back into the opposite wall. He slid down it, then sat there, dazed. He shook his head, rubbed his chest and gritted his teeth with determination. "THAT'S IT COW! YOU ASKED FOR IT!" Kyo lundged at the clearly almost 'Black' Haru, and delivered a blow to the guy's chin, before sweeping his foot underneath Haru's legs and made him fall to the ground. Kyo took another leap and they ended up in a dust ball.

The dust ball of physical chaos went threw the house. The coffee table, paper doors, the couch, all broken during the scuffle. At one point Haru seperated himself to tant the cat, by acting unfazed by the fact he was now cover in cuts and bruises, but only long enough for that. He re-entered the battle with an elbo drop onto Kyo's spine and the dust ball flaired up again.
